Lighting Catalog IS A RIP OFF! Internet

I spent almost $500 on a light fixture Quoizel GE351SE Billiard Lighting Genova Collection.  The website claims the height of this fixture is 27".  However, when you go to mount this fixture it is more than 27"....the height didn't include the extra few inches from the mounting piece.  Therefore, we couldn't use this fixture because it was too long!  We were getting our house reconstructed and ordered the light fixtures early so we can have them in time for the electrician to install.  When it came time, the electrician saw that it wasn't truly 27" and therefore would not work for us. 

We called the company and explained the situation and spoke to Katie at ext. 572.  She said that because it was passed 30 days...she couldn't do a return or credit or anything.  I told her that the website info was misleading and the fixture wasn't truly 27" as expected.  She explained that the chain is adjustable.  So I asked her even if we make the chain the smallest it can go....would it be exactly 27" from ceiling to the bottom of the fixture and she said NO!  It would still be longer than 27".....so here she is agreeing with me but at the same time would not do anything for me!!!!  We have to eat the $500!!!  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!  DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! MISLEADING  INFORMATION!!! CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!
