I met a woman online and after chatting for several months, we discussed her coming to visit and possibly stay in Canada.
After several failed attempts at getting her here, she decided that she wanted to sell her house in the UK and move to Canada with me.
There were taxes owing on her house, we discussed a deal where I would help to pay the tax so that she could sell and I would be an equal partner after the sale was final and she was here.
As soon as the house was supposedly sold, we mysteriously lost contact.
I am out a substantial amount of money. Can anyone help me ? What can I do ?

I have been back in contact with Ms. Robinson since filing my initial report and would like to retract the report if possible. I was mistaken and she did not intentionally try to fraud me. There were taxes owing on the house and she was taking care of the situation on her own as she felt I had helped out enough already. Once she had taken care of the tax situation on her own, she resumed contact with myself.
We are in constant contact now and I regret filing the original report as Linda has proven herself to me, and she is fraudulent in no way.
And Linda, if you happen to read this, I am sorry and I do apologize.
