Linden Blvd. Service Station ripoff dishonest billing after inspecting my 1yr old suv they told me that they were going keep my truck until I paid more money for winshield blades that were ok Saint Albans New York

I brought my suv to this gas station to have it inspected. My suv is a year old and they inspected the vehicle and said everything passed inspection except for the winsheild wipers.

The winshield wipers worked fine through all the bad wheather we experienced in NYC this winter. I just changed insurance companies and I had to have a major inspection done by the new insurer and thy passed the vehicle with a perfect score.

This gas station charged me $37.00 dollars for the inspection and then told me they would not give me my vehicle back until I bought windshield wipers from them for a additional $22.50 which made the total with tax 61.44.

I know this is not a lot but at the time my finances were bad and I could barely afford the $37.00 and most of all, I am convinced they were trying to take advantage of me. Thank you for anything you can do.
