My husabnd and I was facing a challenging situation with the IRS, we recieveed an informative brochure from Link and Associates of Long Beach Calif. We had a call with an associate Tim Nelson. He stated our worries would be over, he will handle everything...he will remove any future levies and negoiate a settlement and he told us do NOT contact the IRS agent as HE, TIM NELSON will deal with the "higher ups".
Tim Nelson did absolutly nothing other then steal our money along with his partner in crime Scott Link....... LIARS Eight weeks later my salary was garnished by what Tim in the beggining called a "lower level agent" well this lower level agent had more power than this scam artist.
In the eight weeks of hell I have placed many phone calls and e-mails to Tim and recieved minimal communication from him, when he would take our calls he would place me on hold and not pick up. I was the case manager. I would recieve letters from the IRS and Tim would tell me to fax it to him if it was threatening????? REALLY..... HELLO....., do you think they are sending me Birthday greetings?
I sent a fax and shared with Tim to cease any work on our behalf...HA, as if he did anything other then process my payments. I shared in that fax that I believe this to be a scam and want my $3000 back that I had to beg and borrow to give them.....Who calls me but Scott Link, he was unhappy that I used the word fraud and was defensive but agreed to give me my money back on Friday 3-3-12...So today is Sunday, he did not return our e-mails and Friday evening after after business hours he states he had a family emergency. OH PLEASE!!!! SUPER CONVENIENT EH???
DO NOT USE LINK AND ASSOCIATES at WE HELP TAXES. These low lifes are scammers and frauds they are NOT attorneys and have ZERO power to do anything. They have hurt my family and have zero morals and of course do not have a conscience. Had I read his other complaints I would not be in this situation. I really wonder how they sleep.

I plan on soon starting a blog covering such practices by these tax resolution companies. I am especially interested in writing about how their actual contracts often don't match what they promise on the phone.
Would you be willing to send me a copy of the service's agreement (contract) they sent you? I would obviously ask that if there is any personal information on the contract that it not be included.
