The Liquidation Team is the name of a store that is located near my home. It sells items that are advertised as closeouts. I shopped there recently for a faucet for my kitchen. I was shown a verity of faucets and narrowed it down to two of them. I was referred to an eBay item number 260531331096 for a detailed written description of the item. In the description in clearly states "guaranteed to arrive in good working condition". However when installed it had 2 major leaks. The very next day I notified the Liquidation Team of the leaky faucet, only to be told that there were no refunds or exchanges. When I explained the what was advertised on eBay.com I was basically told, "tough". Please help! What the Liquidation Team has done is wrong.
Thank you

I Love The Liquidation Team!
AUTHOR: James Thomas - ()
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, June 11, 2014
Only uninformed or ignorant buyers should have a problem with The Liquidation Team.
I love finding awesome deals at The Liquidation Team. They have very low prices. I buy my Diet Coke for 1/2 the price of grocery stores.
I bought a 60" HDTV last year for $500 less than any other store was selling it. Still working great today!
I bought a power reclining sectional for my downstairs that I love. So comfortable! It had a small flaw on the back, but since it goes up against my wall you can't see it and It was 1/2 the price as Costco sold this set for. It was brand new other than the small flaw.
You can't return things you buy, except exchange clothes. So you have to make sure that you really want what you buy before purchasing. My wife seems to buy 1/2 of our families clothes from them too.
If you have never been to The Liquidation Team you have to check them out!

The Liquidation Team is great

I have purchased many electronic products from the Liquidation Team without incident. name brand Blu Ray players to televisions, I couldn't be happier with the items and would personally recommend this store to anyone looking to pay half of retail on AV equipment.
I recently purchased a television for my bedroom from LT, and it did develop a strange behavior that required calling into the manufacturer. After getting nowhere with the tech support and warrantee department, I called the LT and they told me to bring the TV in to them. After a few short days, my problem was resolved and the TV works very well. The management of the Liquidation Team did not have to support me and could have easily sent me away. Instead they stood by their merchandise and had my problem resolved quickly. I will not hesitate to buy from them again. Thanks again for helping me out.

Dispute Resolved Amicably

The Liquidation Team and Steve from Draper have sought to understand each others positions and have resolved the dispute amicably. I regret the accusations and the personal attacks I made on Steve's character. Steve has been made whole and the Liquidation Team will gladly welcome him back to the store as a valued customer.

Ok, I'm hoping the people who read this have a minimal level of common since. You have asserted that I stole it from you. If you would like to send me a shipping label I would also be happy to mail it back to you. In addition, if I offered it back to you (and that offer still stands, it is sitting in my garage as we speak) how is it that I stole it?
I think this should be clear enough, but if you'd like further proof of the dishonesty clearly demonstrated by Liquidation Team, do the following
#1 Call there phone number during business hours 801 226-2200
#2 Ask for Reed
#3 When he comes to the phone you will know that he is a liar.
He clearly listed himself as an ex-employee when he is in fact a current employee.
SEE FOR YOURSELF!
Then you should have a pretty good idea of who you are dealing with. I've begun correspondence with a syndicated radio program that fights ripoffs and hope I can have this broadcast nationwide within a few weeks. The public should know what has happened.

You can drive to Draper to get the faucet I stole from you

First of all, you know perfectly well that you didn't buy this item off of eBay. The return policy is something enforced by eBay. You bought it in the store where there are signs all over and on your receipt saying that sales are final. Of course your credit card company sided with you, they always take the side of their customers, even when its people like you.
However, that was so very generous of you to allow the Liquidation Team to drive 20 miles out of their way to pick up the faucet that you stole from them! You are a criminal. You kept a faucet that you didn't pay for. Until you return the faucet, everyone who reads these posts should know that you STOLE a faucet from Liquidation Team and then posted negative comments about them all over the internet.

Faucet Fraud

I invite all to read the advertisement listed on eBay and noticed the part that reads:
"It is guaranteed to arrive in good working condition" Simply search for eBay item number 260531331096
I did dispute the charges with my credit card company only after appealing to Liquidation Team numerous times. I called, emailed, and called again. Finally I filed a complaint to the BBB, to the Orem city business lic division, and have posted on numerous blogs. Finally I appeared to my credit card company and they clearly recognized the Liquidation Team for the scoundrels they are and quickly refunded my payment.
I even after that called and offered the liquidation team there faulty faucet back. I said I would leave it on my porch and they could pick it up whenever they'd like. They never came. Not sure where "ex-employee" is getting her information, but it is clearly incomplete. Do your self a favor and stay away from the liquidation team!

The Customer is the Dishonest One Here

I used to work for the Liquidation Team and I know for a fact that this guy filed a chargeback with his credit card company and then kept the faucet. Who's the crook here?!!
Besides, there are signs all over the store saying to test your items because all sales are final. Plus, the same policy is written on the receipt right where you sign it to acknowledge that you understand that all sales are final.
They even told the guy how to fix it by buying a rubber seal for less than 20 cents. He bought the faucet for less than 40% of its retail value!! He bought it for $60 less than retail!! Apparantly he wanted the faucet for free and thats what he ended up with through his dishonesty!

I can understand the frustration with this purchase, however, I have shopped at this same store and they are always very willing to answer questions and make your purchase a success. However, they sell items that may occasionally have issues, for this reason, they post signs everywhere in the store to indicate that all sales are final, no matter what. A leaky faucet is a hard thing to judge by just looking at it but that is a risk you take buying it from a store like this. I have made a lot of purchases there and have walked away with some extremely good deals. I might occasionally get home and find a flaw on an item that I didn't see in the store, but I know that's a risk I take when I shop there. Either way, when I shop at Liquidation Team, I usually pay half of what I would pay elsewhere. Great store, sorry you had a bad experience.
