I work in the Mortage industry as a Loan Officer. Never have I seen such delaying tactics and lost faxes as Litton Loans seems to have. I have also had to deal with a spin off of Litton Loans, Home Gold (a now defunct lender that has set new a new record for SC Bankruptcy). Search the web, you will find all kinds of references to Litton Loans, Home Gold and the attorneys who screw the consumer.

I hope that enough people band together to not only stop the style of lending that has been practiced, but even more to stop the style of an attorney who is familiar with the law and is not affraid to intimidate those who are not. An attorney that who will gouge fees like that should be dissbarred, fined and have to make restitution to all victims.

Litton Loan and their Law Firms Never a response or a rebuttal guess the Truth Hurts

AUTHOR: Diane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 01, 2004

Been thinking this site has been known to allow both sides to post to the issues commented.

Now why would Litton Loan Servicing and/or Ocwen Federal not try to make a statement? Is it because we are shouting the TRUTH.

Then once in a while you get those employee(s) who makes a comment or two that there is no lender/servicer who wins with foreclosure.

I have proof since there have been posts at other
searches such as Centex, Fairbanks, Charter One and probably more, by current employees. And then there are posts from ex-employees and some industry people who it seems agree with what us victims are stating.

Then there is that popular comment that most of us are not paying the bills or have not read all the hidden fine print in the contract.

Your time is coming when the world will know the truth and hopefully we will all have the vindication we deserve.

The settlement will not work in this case, others have taught us the unfairness of same, like the recent Fairbanks settlement, less than $10.00 a person and still they are homeless.

We want more! You also deserve to pay like you made so many pay before!

Litton Loan and their bad boy law firms, Steven Baum, Carus & Manniello and Eschen & Frenkel NY lawyers or theives

AUTHOR: Diane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, July 31, 2004

Hi Hollis and thank you for continuing to contribute to our fight. You are so right these law firms need to start checking who they represent. I for one, if I were an attorney would definitely want to know all sides of the issue. Considering that there are 2 class actions currently filed against Litton Loan and numerous personal lawsuits against Litton, think they would check them out.

Wouldn't any reputable law firm want to know what the other side is complaining about and if there is any truth there to be seen?

Then you have the law firms like the 3 in NY State that represent Litton Loan, etal I have often tried to see all sides of a situation and know for a fact that when you assume something we all know what you become.

So I wonder why Steven P. Baum, Buffalo, NY and Carus & Manniello, PC and Eschen & Frenkel, LLP both in NYC who represent Litton Loan and others, do not take the time and consider that there may be a possibility that we are all not paying our mortgages. It just does not make sense.

Then there is the other issue many of the law firm letters note that this is an attempt to collect a debt. So are the lawyers now becoming nothing but a collection agency, just like Litton Loan who has been labeled a predatory servicer / collection agency?

Makes you wonder why they would jeopardize their licenses and reputation without knowing all the facts and at least offer a benefit of doubt.

Maybe we should start complaining to the Bar Associations, since they infer that they are collecting a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Do they realize that their blind justice is contributing to the fraud and theft of America's homeowners?

Why can't these lawyers stop and think, God forbid the shoe is on the other foot, maybe it will take a drastic situation for them to open their eyes and see that they are only furthering the stealing of homes and ruination of lives and families.

I for one will never stop, I will be there till then, you can take my home or try to settle does not matter I want you to all go down. Just remember the bigger you are the harder you fall, and no one will be there to catch you!

Black balling the companies

AUTHOR: Hollis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 22, 2004

Thanks for your response. As a loan officer I see a lot of companies offer products that seem to serve the needs of the consumer. There really is no way to know where the loans go after they close; often they are bundled and sold (to investors, Wall Street etc.) according to credit grade. Some, like Litton, service their own loans (collect money, write hate mail when your late, etc.).

Perhaps a loan officer could research each company he/she does business with, but usually the negative only is posted on fine web sites as this one after such gross malfeasances as we are discussing. I don't know of a single loan officer in the state of Tennessee that will do business with them. Frankly, I don't know if they are still in the business of buying loans, though I doubt it given the web site content google takes me to when I plug in the word Litton.

However (and don't take this as lawyer bashing, I was going to be one), another, and perhaps more devestating arm to this octupus is the attorney firms that are hard wired into these and other loan companies data banks. At 90 days late a huge attorneys fee is added to the past due terms and forclosure proceedings, like a train coming down the tracks, becomes almost impossible to stop without filing a bankruptcy (Chapter 13). Even then the attorneys forclosure fees are often protected. It is a money making machine that is self perpetuating.

A bank cannot forclose without an attorney. If the attorney is acting in such a manner that is unethical, that attorney can have a BAR complaint filed against them by ANYBODY. Being hauled up in front of an ethics committee, facing censure by your peers, fines and risking the license to practice often enough would probably deter the most par boiled money hungry son of a *****.

I wish you all luck, and if you know of an attorney firm locally that practices with Litton and it's ilk, why not stage a mini rally? Not a riot, just a few people with signs that say why they are there?

PS. check with your local ordinances to make sure you don't fall in a civil disobedience catagory.

Wow Insider's view to Litton Loan's delaying Tactics on a PayOff

AUTHOR: Diane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 21, 2004

Hi Hollis found your comment very interesting and would enjoy hearing more on the topic of Litton Loan and how they milk the system and their clients or any others, like Ocwen, Centex or Fairbanks, etc.

If you have other associates please tell them about this site, they say knowledge is power and the more comments this site receives from a professional's viewpoint can only help our cause.

One other thing there are always so many conventions and just wondering why doesn't your associations black ball companies like Litton and the like, maybe then there would be more notice of the improper tactics and management of the mortgage accounts that is giving the industry a bad name.

Start weeding out the bad, we need your help. And as you said do a search maybe you will post soon at some of the other boards that address this issue of Servicer's Fraud.

Thanks for the comment.
