LivePlaySports.TV Darren Thomas scammed me for free labor - 3 days of work up a 25 ft. up on a scaffolding so they can sell games for profit! CAMERA OPERATORS - BEWARE! California

LivePlaySports.TV is a scam. Buyers and CAMERA OPERATORS BEWARE! Darren Thomas who runs this company put in an add on CraigsList for Camera Operators the week before Thanksgiving 2017, offering $200 per day to record games, and $600 for three days of work (13 hour days) shooting games at the Turkey Bowl in Fontana. I spent my entire Thanksgiving weekend working this job, out in the cold and up on a 25 ft. scaffolding with the promise that he would pay. He did not pay me, and he purposefully doesn't answer his phone. I only talked to him twice before he cut off communication without payment. I filled out a 1099 like he wanted and one week later I inquired about payment but he said he is working on it.

So another week later I call, and he is working on payment at that very moment and I should get a check in the mail by that Tuesday. The check never came. In fact, right after that he cut off all communication with me, and doesn't answer his emails - he doesn't answer his cellphone and will no longer answer his texts, and no email correspondence at all. Darren Thomas is committing Grand Theft, he offers money to people to work for LivePlaySports.TV with the expectation of pay but then he never pays them. It's been nearly 6 weeks since I worked the entire Thanksgiving weekend for him to make extra money for Chritmas. But he took the money he made selling games and did not pay me for three days labor, 13-14 hour days - I basically got scammed into working for free so that he could profit. I also spoke with another Camera Operator who worked with me and Darren Thomas Thanksgiving weekend and he said that he also did not get paid. Camera Operators, do not take a job from Darren Thomas at LivePlaySports.TV!

Your time and energy is not worth someone rippin you off with the money and then stiff you for your time, resources, hard work and abilities. This man is a business scam-artist, buyers and camera operators beware. I even have texts from him stating the check is in the mail! I will never get that weekend back. Buyers, do not be in support of this scam artist. The money is going to his own personal gain and his workers will get stiffed. He is building a business by screwing others. Again, Camera Operators, do not apply to LivePlaySports.TV, it's a scam - you will not get paid. Work for someone else who is legit and who will pay you for your time.
