On Nov 15 2015 I went to the Lorenzo Bomnin dealership to purchase a 2016 corvette stingray. At that time I bought 2 warranties. 1 for my tires and 1 for the paint. It was a deciding factor on if I wanted the car or not. They assured me my car would be covered if it was damaged by dings or vandalism or if the rims or tires were damaged . The following day after i bought the car the same woman contacted me and said warranty wasnt effective in a corvette. I can have a refund of just the warranty portion. That was very annoying to me because again it was one of the deal closers for me. THAT being said I started to have electrical issues and got something in my tire. I brought it in and the same day they release the car to me and said they ordered a new tire and i thought they fixed the delayed start and shut off.  A few days later it did it again. I was going to bring it back in but since dealership is far I needed to schedule it when I could take a day off. I didnt think it was an emergency . After all the car was brand new. At a little over 3000 miles and on january 29 2016 about 2 months adter I bought this car, I was driving on the center lane on I 95 and the car turn off travelling 70 mph. It alerted me as the wheel locked and the car made no sound and coasted... that I should resart the engine. At this point the car is off.... and Im going about 60mph slowing down and trying to get over to emergency lane with a locked wheel and every one honking at me. By the GRACE of God I didnt get killed. I managed to pull this..... car over and as if nothing. I put it in park and the stupid thing started... I was crying hysterical. Afraid to drive. I drove it home that friday. Monday Morning I intended to bring it straight to LORENZO BOMNIN chevrolet anfd when i went to get in this car.... reluctantly , the doors wouldnt open , and it was not letting me in. the dealership requested i call the tow company they usually use and that man came out and new barely anything about corvettes himself. Including how to tow it. Finally after 3 hours he managed to get someone on the phone that told him to put it in neutral from underneath. NOW, it is 64 days later, they gave me 2 seperate camaro loaners and I have been paying insurance and car paymnets for a 2016 vette that they have had in the shop longer than i owned it. !!! I want my money back and i do not want this dangerous vehicle anymore. i requested a different upgraded or better model to make up for all this nonsence and they said they cant. They cant give me back m money, they cant make up for the  crazy money I am making payments for on car and interest, The inconvenience and scare I had with this awful car. The time Ive wasted going back and forth and noone seems to really be concerned. they care about the bottom line. They dont care that the 2016 corvette stingray nearly killed me and i want to get out of this car . or get a better one. id rather get my money back and move on with my life and they wont let me. it is a lemon. its been there 2 months. They are not good and caring for their customers and they do not care that the care they gave me is totally defective.

Pitfalls of dealing with the "Owner":

The owner of all dealerships large enough to hold a General Motors Dealership are a group of shareholders.

If you are lucky the "owner" you are dealing with is the "Dealer Principle". For the layperson the man who is directly answerable to GM for the entire dealerships behaviour.

Otherwise you have been flat out lied to.

Also Dealer Principles think of themselves as important people who will string along a customer just because they are to lazy to check into the complaint properly, or take the time to contact GM on a customer unit.

Don't let up, make sure you speak directly to GM again, you are very obviously excessively frustrated with good reason. I would ask GM to get you service at a different dealership.

If they can't fix it in a reasonable time (By Now!) they should buy it back.

I strongly recomend you call Chevrolet directly: 1-800-222-1020

Be nice, the person you are talking to has no power and will need to get a manager involved.

You need to phrase your request carefully, don't explain everything just ask the following:

Ask for help finding another dealer that will competently help you with your on-going issues  as your current dealer isn't.

Ask for the area service representitive to call you for the same reason.

Be nice to the rep, he can help you but its easier if he likes you.

Good Luck
