Click-bait to website offering $4.95 trial size plus $1.99 shipping. No mention of terms (discovered it later as link in tiny gray font at bottom of screen--but it was not overtly/directly part of "full disclosure" when purchasing trial size. But here's the thing: in 2 weeks they charge your credit card $89.71 for the tiny jar. I had to call them twice (they don't answer phone by giving name of company-goes to nondiscrimate call center; waited 15 minutes for someone to answer; hung up and called my credit card company tomdispute the charge). After filing a dispute I called them back, waited another fifteen minutes and got a young woman who explained, "No, that $89.71 is for the trial size! The $4.95 is just the upfront charge for the trial size!" Nowhere did they divulge, alert, or show any ethics in their sales by specifically, intentionally alerting consumers that this was their game. Get this-- they also charge a "cancellation fee" --which the sales woman "generously offered to waive" . What chutzpah! This company is unethical, underhanded and clearly a scam. I'm reporting the, to the Consumer Fraud Protection Bureau.

I had the same experience with this company. I tried to order one product on free trial with no commitment but to pay for shipping, and the website forced me to order Eye Cream also. Then I was billed $89.95 and $94.95 for the two products within 12 days during the '30-day evaluation period'. Additional money was charged for "insurance" which was not elected.

Viewing the terms and conditions is not part of the checkout process; one has to search for them by scrolling to the bottom of the page. There are several obviously false indicators on the ordering page to "hurry" to complete your order, since supplies are "limited". The "terms" state the company's unreasonable demands of the consumer, but the consumer is not aware of such terms.

The male company representative by phone resisted accountability for his statements and his company's unethical and fraudulent actions. This Costa Mesa California company's owner needs to be charged and prosecuted by the State of California. Let us all know if you have taken any actions to report your incident to the authorities - the Consumer Fraud Protection Bureau, California Attorney General in Sacramento, and the California Better Business Bureau.
