Luxury Pools of Michigan Greg Ibrahim Alpha Pools 10 Months and the Pool Is Only a Third of the Way Completed, Rip Off Pool Contractor Shelby Twp Michigan

 My family contracted with Luxury Pools of Michigan in September of 2016 for an in-ground liner pool. In November of 2016 the company broke ground in my yard and after putting up steel walls and pouring cement footings in December, construction ceased. Fast forward to July of 2017 and our pool is nowhere near completed and we have had to pay 80% of the total cost of the project. Greg Ibrahim the owner of Luxury Pools is a total fraud! A liner pool takes a total of 8 to 12 weeks to construct and I am at 9 month's and counting. To date we have piles of backfill all over our yard, bent steel walls, a gas line and plumbing to the filter that has not been hooked up and incomplete electrical word due to the inability of Greg Ibrahim and his crew not showing up. We have trenching all around our yard which at this point is a safety hazard and has been for several month's at this point. My husband had to fill in the trench dug in our front yard for fear someone would fall and get hurt leaving us as the homeowner responsible. There are also many safety hazards in my back yard with no barrier around the area dug for the pool, nails left laying out and various other debris as the crew does not pick up after themselves. My husband and I have had to spend a significant ammount of time cleaning up all the pool parts, shovels, wheelbarrows, solidified bags of quickcrete and even can's of pipe sealant which is toxic and the lid was left open. As a pet owner I am horrified as this substance could have killed my dogs! In addition the crew have damaged my flower beds by throwing piping and various other debris on top of my plants. We continue to call Greg and get nothing but lies and commitments that are met maybe 5% of the time. We had our lawyer write them a letter putting them on notice that they had a little over 30 days to complete the pool or we would look to seek alternative actions.

When I brought this issue up with him, he stated to me that a letter from our lawyer was not going to motivate him to complete the project. This contactor continues to blame everyone else but himself for their inability to finish the work which is so unprofessional to complain to the customer about the crew's he employs. Luxury Pools is now operating under the name Alpha Pools and which I questioned Greg Ibrahim about this he stated that he had to change the name of the company but it in no way impacts our project or warranties once the work is done. On top of them taking our money and not doing the work we have several material breach's to the contract which include a jump rock which is not longer being manufactured. We ordered blue stairs and Greg stated he could not get them and we had to accept white ones. I was able to locate blue ones via the web so this is another lie by the company and Greg Ibrahim. Additionally your contract will state that your backfill will be limestone chips which will provide better structural integrity however, we have nothing but pea gravel and dirt. Finally to add insult to injury, my backyard is destroyed and will cost us several thousand to repair if the construction ever get's done and we have had to double the visits from our housekeeper due to the constant dirt and filth coming into the house due to the condition of the yard. Our poor dogs are always filthy are our cost of grooming has increased as well. We also ordered an outdoor bar which we are not going to have to pay the mfg. for storage as it's been over 2 months since the purchase date and we cannot take delivery since the pool is not done. We will also have to have our hardwood floors refinish from the damage alt dirt coming into the house has done to the finish. Do yourself a favor and heed all the warnings from myself and the other complaintants about this company. Do not to business with Greg Ibrahim or any company he is associated with.
