Mad Menus I called for a quote and they created an ad using my website and published without my consent! Riverton Illinois

So again they lie. 

We called for a quote and they ripped off our info from the internet. We have repeatedly told them that publishing our address was dangerous to our state certification as a bio-secure property. I provided pages of proof that we do NOT welcome people to randomly come here and that we are state tested and inspected. There is no store front and no reason to ever have advertised our address. It seems to me some sales rep was trying to meet their quota or they needed to fill space or something. Because we did NOT consent to the publishing of this ad. 

Factually, we are a business that sells baby chicks. Baby chicks are sold in the SPRING. It is a seasonal business, a few months a year. Pretty much anyone knows that. We are an online, website based company where orders are placed. 

Had they actually taken an ad for us we would have given them the website and LOGO to use to promote us - not our personal address - where people cant even buy anything!

Our email is set with an auto responder that clearly states when the season is over that nobody is checking this email address. They were very well aware of what they were doing.

Had they actually taken an ad from us, they would have known that we do not get mail at our home. We have a PO BOX!

And they did NOT cancel the invoice months ago. Only FIVE days ago they DEMANDED payment and offered me a discount to pay.

Here is from their recent email: FINAL PAST DUE NOTICE PRIOR TO BEING SENT TO YOUR LOCAL DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY! Please find attached copy of your unpaid invoice. Your account is past due please remit payment immediately. You can either call 217-629-6368 to pay over the phone with a check or credit card, or you can mail your payment to 311 E. Jefferson / Riverton, IL 62561. If you call and make a payment before 1/31/2018, I can offer you a 20% discount. If you have any questions you can contact me at 217-629-6368. Thank You Tina Menu Advertising & Design  Office: 217-629-6368 Fax: 217-629-9581

And yes, there are a few annonymous complaints on an old internet forum from when we assumed the assets of another business. It was THEIR customers that complained, not ours. It is explained right there on the forum. We have nothing to hide but is this about us? Or about their shady practices. 

I have reported them to their States Attorney General consumer protection. And they are looking into it. Ref #: OAG2018-000050106 

This Individual agreed to purchase this ad and is mad because she doesn't want to pay her bill.

It is not our fault that she failed to provide us with the proper information when the sale was verified.

After a she called to dispute her back bill from June 2016 we decided to cancel her bill in the best intrest of everyone.

And yet she still continued to call and email several times.

She told us that she only open for 4 months of the year, but yet she claims to be an online only company which is it?

We had emailed her a color proof of her ad because she was a last minute ad.

If she is an online only company like she claims you would think she would check her email and respond to her color proof.
