I have been trying for 6 days to get help with my phone service, but they keep lying to me saying they're working on it. I filed my first complaint with the company Tuesday, 10-12-10. They've sent me 3 emails saying the issue would be handled within one business day. Wednesday, 10-13-10, I called them early in the day and the second technician, Xander said it was currently being worked on and to give it a few hours and it should be working by the evening. It was not working by late in the evening and I contacted them again. This time the third tech I spoke with said, "I was on a priority list and it would be taken care of soon." I contacted them again today, 10-14-10, and talked to 4 different agents. Each one saying the same, that I was on the list and they were working "double time" to try to solve this issue. Then, the tech Gerald, said it would be handled within 24-72 hours. Then, after that, I received a duplicate email of what they sent on Tuesday saying it would be taken care of within one business day. It's now the end of the sixth day and they keep lying saying it will be fixed, then they say it's currently being worked on, only to have another tell me I'm on a list.
I've written two letters to an email address that is supposed to be "management." I've received no reply and nobody has contacted me to date to try and resolve these problems.
I would warn all people to think twice about buying this product. I've had many problems, and the techs have been able to help on some minor issues, but if it's anything too technical, they are no help, and will give you the runaround and sometimes even lie to you about when to expect help. Tomorrow will be one week I've been waiting for help and I've heard from nobody from this company. I don't think they intend to fix the problem. I made the mistake to trust this company and pay for 5 years of service. Tomorrow will be one week that my service is not working properly and they could care less! Don't buy Magic Jack!
