I have had this phone number over 12 years now and ported this with Magicjack sometime the other year  2011 just to save some money from phone service.  But now I stand to lose this phone number because Magic Jack will not renew my account. At first, I did not know the reason why but I noticed about several months ago I could not even buy international credits from them.  Also, we have 2 other magic Jacks supposed to be renewed September 2013 but did not renew even if the setting in AUTO RENEW.  Back then, I was already kind of worried that our main phone number, the number we transferred with them, might not also renew come December 2013.  Well, that fear came true.

Yesterday our main phone no longer accepts calls, it goes directly to voicemail and we cannot make an outgoing call.  MAGICJACK just refused to renew our number without regard to your need.  This is our basic phone service.  Then,  I remember that sometime this year, I think July or earlier, there was $35 charge on my back from MAGICJACK that I disputed. I did not have any transaction with them with that amount, took a long time for them to refund me that I even reported it to my bank. And finally I got it back to my account.  I think that was when MAGICJACK flagged my account as ‘fraud’. Perhaps it meant no more service to our main number to the other units we have with them showing the same billing address.

I feel that that is very unfair and the public must know that this company MAGICJACK cannot be trusted with. They have so big but not very efficient especially with caring for their customers’ needs. BEWARE.

This giant company MAGICJACK just do not care to the poor customers. I am now trying to transfer this number with another provider but it could not be done because this phone is inactive. This phone number is important to me. Lots of contacts and more stable than my actual physical address. Even if I move around, at least I have this number as the contact point. Where else can I report them to help me get this number back? I remember something like Federal communication department but not sure exactly. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
