I trusted Linda Andrews which now turns out to be a big mistake. I had a home inspection performed on a property that I intended to purchase(25206 Front Road North Dinwiddie 23803). This home had multiple serious issues and failed the inspection. According to the contract if after the home inspection is over and I decide that I do not wish to purchase the home. The $500.00 contract deposit is returned to the purchaser. I told Linda Andrews the next day that the home had too many serious issues and i did not wish to purchase it. The fact is it has been over a month and my $500.00 contract deposit has not been returned. Today I received a termination of contract and Linda Andrews and Magnolia Reality Group wants me to sign my money over to them. As a first time home buyer I trusted Linda Andrews and Magnolia Realty Group only to be ripped off.

I've have tried to delete my report. As it turns out, I am the arsehole out of the bunch. Linda Andrews went out of her way to try and please me. Linda is the best realtor that I have worked with. Since this unfortunate incident I have worked with four other realtors. None of them are as professions as Linda Andrews. It has been just short of a year and I still haven't bought a house. Still looking ! If i would have listened to Linda I would be in the house that was just sold. The one that I can not find another nearly as nice in my price range. I truly apologize Linda. To rip off report... Delete my report ! First I would like this to be published. This way it shows both ways that this works.

I'm very saddened to read this report against me. I've explained to Bart several times, that in order for me to return his $500.00, we would need a Release of Contract signed by Purchaser and Seller with both parties 'AGREEING' to release the funds to him. At this point, neither of the parties are willing to sign the release. Therefore, it's out of my hands, legally I cannot return his deposit. We are at a standstill and I would like to see both parties walk away from their contract feeling comfortable. I wish there was more that I could do, but there isn't. Looking forward to a happy ending for all concerned. Bart told me that he was going to file a complaint even after I told him that I could not return his deposit without permission. I'm sorry that he feels the way he does, we spent many, many hours searching for the perfect home for him. I've known him since he was in middle school with my children and his parents are good friends of mine......
