This company contracted with numerous people throughout the USA back in May, 2009 to do independent contracting work for them. The job specifically was to place maps and books in various businesses. The rate of pay was agreed upon and the independent contractors performed the services.
Master Merchandisers LLC not refuses to pay the contractors what is owed to them for performing this service. The company employees and owners are not answering emails, accepting certified letters, or answering the telephones. They have been avoiding all contact for the past 3-4 months.
The reason that they say that they have not paid is because their client has not paid them. Their client has been contacted and that statement has been found to be false not to mention that no where in the contract does it say that the independent contractors will not be paid until Master Merchandisers is paid by their client.
