David Rolls of Master Pieces Puzzle Co & Sales & Marketing at Duchossois Industries, Inc. is a complete fraud. He has destroyed his own business with extreamly bad business decisions and using the company to live well outside of his means. As the owner of the company who steals lunches out of the breakroom refridgerator from his employees. (gross) 

The company has also been back-dooring products into Wal-Mart inc. by stickering UPC codes (mismarking products) in order to inflate 4th quarter sales. These products include his line of Bella Sara Puzzles, low end puzzles, scrap booking products which he sold out at a loss.

In fact many of his small toy store accounts have discovered that they can buy his products at Wal-Mart retail prices cheaper than they can purchase directly from Masterpieces at wholesale.

David Rolls has a habit of keeping terrific sales people and then firing them before paying out year end bonus money while keeping those who never who never annual goals. David Rolls somehow feels this is the best way of doing business taking advantage at-will and right to work state laws in order not to make employee payouts.

He had laid off his entire sales force and then hired new ones, poorly trained , unmotivated and no desire to achieve at an hourly wage with no incentives thinking this would increase profits. The entire sales force he let go because of his own mis-giving  were let go with out any compinsation or  severence pay and ripped them all off out of all commision and bonus money owed to them that was sill on the books at the time he let them all go.

David Rolls has poor managment and business skills keeping his HR director on as a second sales manager. Does it really make any sense to fire your sales team and then promote your HR director to sales manager? Does it really take two mangers to over see a team of five sales employees? Makes you question his current manager who he seems to get all his business advice from. Throwing good money after bad time and time again. Loyalty is one thing, stupidity and old fashion common sence is another.

But what can we say about a man who tells 50 and 60 yr old women to go outside and unload frieght from semi-trucks in 100 degree weather in Tucson Az? These women were his secretaries, accounts managers and so on. Imagine showing up dress for work in your office clothes and then being told to labor in the sun. There were perfectly capable young men working who could manage it just fine.  Again he takes advantage of his employees with out any consideration for another person's health and well being.
 
To do business with David Rolls or Masterpieces Puzzles Co. as a costomer or an employee expect to be ripped off, treated poorly and taken advantage of.  The office motto at Masterpieces puzzles is, if you cannot keep your nose clean then keep it brown.  You will  be expected to buy him a birthday gift. He thinks that he is that important. In fact it is a non-disclosed requirement of your employment.
