I borrowed 300$ from maxlend in September 2015. I couldn't pay it all back in one lump sum.so they took out 48$ a week out of my checking account.which was fine and I figured I'd have it paid off in a month or so but I called them at the end of January to ask why they was still taking out money every week.they informed me that it was interest and I still owed 280$ to pay off the loan.I called BBB.and they said that they could leagally only charge up to 390% interest.I'm sure the went above and beyond that.I just paid off the loan on 2/10/16, and the payoff was 220$ I was supposed to receive a confirmation number from them but haven't yet.please someone do something about these people.they are ruining good peoples lives when they just needed some help!

By your own admission, YOU stated YOU could not pay this thing off in a lump sum. Therefore it was YOU who turned on the interest machine! Nobody forced you into this deal. In order to receive the money, YOU agreed to the terms! NO RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer agreed to the terms of the loan and in typical deadbeat fashion blames the lender!
