These companies purport to assis you in developing a home-based business conducting internet auctions. They put together a web page for you containing ten items to sell. They also send you a credit card terminal for which they charge you nearly $70/month for 4 years. They also promise assistance in starting your business.

First bit of trouble started when I balked at the four year lease. I was told by the EIS rep that they would find someone to take over if things didn't work out. I received an attachment from "JP Lipski" on my lease giving me a 90 day out, with NO termination charges. Found out later that Mike Shuba, who was my trainer, and JP Lipski, Pres. and CEO of NMS, are the same person.

After three months of posting auctions per his instructions, I had about a dozen sales, no profit and two dozen problems, all of which I had to solve on my own. Deciding to opt out, I attempted to close out the terminal lease and credit card business. Shuba said he made a mistake, that there was a termination fee charged by the bank of $250.

Against my better judgement, I paid it. That was two months ago. In the meantime, I stopped the auto charges to my bank account, which has resulted in 10 or more collection phone calls per day from NRM Leasing. Most of the calls they ring the phone three times and hang up before the answering machine picks up. I've talked to these people a few times, but it's usless. They are reading from a script.

I STRONGLY urge people to avoid these companies. They are selling credit card terminal leases, and NOTHING ELSE!
