To Whom This May Concern, In regards to your location on 35th ave and Glendale. This is one of the worst locations I have ever been to and that includes Wal-Mart. My parents Alfonso and Silvia Tapia made a purchase for two bed sets which we had to wait two weeks for and didn't even make a complain about. We understand it takes time to manufacture product and receive it. I walked into your store location with my mother, Silvia so that we could pay for the beds in full and in cash. First of all, no one even greets you when you walk in, not only that but I walk in and I see who turns out to be the store manager on the floor on his personal cell phone and obviously on a personal call with what sounded to be like wife and son.

Now I understand we all have family however, from the sound of the call this was not a life-threatening situation. Meanwhile, my mother Silvia and I are forced to wait till he finishes wrapping up his call. Once he is finished with his call he half attends to us and dodges my mother's questions regarding certain questions she had regarding the mattress and its warranties, which I am forced to probe, and question until we receive a satisfying response to. Now this past Saturday we had delivery of these bed sets and were quite upset when one of the beds was missing hardware in order to be fully assembled. After speaking with the delivery team and warehouse my father, Alfonso has me contact the store manager Carlos who sold him the merchandise.

Well Carlos did not express any empathy at all for the situation and all he simply said was "Well it can take 7-14 days". I am well aware what your paperwork says and what Carlos failed to understand was that since the purchase it had already been fourteen days the day of delivery. Quoting the paperwork didn't do anything for us at all and when I tried to reason with him he simply said he needs to speak with Alfonso since he's the purchaser. Now from the beginning of the conversation I let Carlos know i would be handling the situation my father is elderly and a senior citizen and did not need to deal with this and get upset over this which I was trying to prevent. Clearly Carlos could care less and just refused to speak with me and was rude and abrupt.

I am highly disappointed that a company like Mega Furniture would hire a employee that spends the company's time and money on his personal life and could care less about customer service. Unfortunately, Carlos being completely unreasonable got my poor father on the phone and did absolutely nothing to help at all. It was the delivery team and your warehouse manager Julie who pulled through and made this delivery and assembled the bed on Saturday. They were superb in getting what was necessary and delivering excellent service. These are the kind of employees and service I believed Mega Furniture to employ. Obviously, I was mistaken since you can't even hire a proper store manager. Overall, I would never ever come back to this location much less recommend someone and you can be sure I will publicize this on every social media as well as report this to the better business bureau.
