Michael Storm Raven - Raven Jewelers fraud, theft, stealing, fake, jeweler, Hollywood California

On August 25, 2011, I loaned Michael Storm Raven $8,000 because "his mom was dying and he needed help with her bills." Now, a bit of backstory. In 2011, I had recently lost my mother, whom I was very close to, and when he told me this sob story, it hit a sore spot. We had developed somewhat of a business relationship and I didn't think he would joke about something this serious.

Mr. Raven wrote a promissory note detailing how he would pay me back in full within 90 days. To this day, I haven't received a dime. He kept giving me the runaround for years, and when I threatened to sue him, he would throw the "bankruptcy" card, stating he would file for bankruptcy if I did sue him. This went on and on for months, now years. I couldn't serve him in court because I didn't have his home address, due to how quickly and direly he needed the money. He's so good at manipulating that my concern for him and his family superceded any thought of protecting myself. I clearly was duped, and as the old adage goes, good guys do finish last.

I'd also like to point out that I bought a ring from him, since he claims to be a celebrity jeweler and all. He took forever making that ring, constantly making excuses as to why it's not ready. After about 4 months did I actually receive the ring. And it's not worth nearly what I paid for.

After doing a quick search on him today, the rip off reports started pouring in. It's sad to see him continue to dupe good people several years later. If you read other people's reports (some of which are as recent as last month, May 2014) they heard a similar sob story - mom's sick, and now he's apprently changing the story a bit and it's Michael Raven himself that's dying of cancer - and got conned exactly like I did. Three years later he still is threatening to file for bankruptcy.

This man is evil to exploit other's weaknesses. Michael Raven is a bad human being. He belongs in jail and I hope someone can bring justice to that lowlife.
