In his rebuttal, Mike Lapenna proves my point for me with his excuses, delays and passing of the buck. I've included his original solicitation which has also been shared with the Federal Trade Commission. I simply want to clarify a point or two. Yes, I did procure $1000 USD from Mr. Chambers with a promissary of a $3,000 return. However some of his comments are erroneous. It was for marketing costs and the monies to be returned to Mr. Chambers were to originate from an investment that has been delayed.

Mr. Chambers is a good man undergoing much duress these days as he has been taking care of his infirm father for quite some time now and I sympathize with him. I understand his anger though I feel it is misdirected for the reasons he cites in his complaint. I have a colleague whose son is a professional poker player down in Las Vegas and simply sought to reimburse Mr. Chambers via that return-once my original plan got pushed back-when again an unfortunate circumstance postponed that event until late December/1st week of January. My reason offered to him has been consistent and never vacillated.

In as far as my not taking very recent calls nor emails that is true but only because they were laced with profanity and threats. It was Mr. Chambers who, in fact, turned belligerent. The bottom line is that it is and has always been my utmost sincere goal to remunerate Chris as promised. It will happen by early January and I will be back in here with a copy of proof of payment at that time. If I can put closure to this situation sooner I absolutely will.
