Mission Rock Cafe, San Francisco mission Rock Cafe we experienced horrific and profound unprofessionalism on our wedding day: agreements were made upfront with no follow through or accountability San Francisco California

* we were stood up by the event coordinator twice - and then lied to without an apology. she messed up the tasting menu, only 2 out of 5 items correct... again no apology. and the invoice and contract she drafted didn't even have my husband's name right!

* 4 days before the wedding they unapologetically informed us that they did not have seats or tables for 150 guests (as originally agreed) and that we would need to pay for the rental of 5 additional round tables and table cloths. with no other choice, we paid the fee and on the day - there were no additional round tables! Only slapped together and mismatched tables that weren't even the same height!!

* upfront they showed us pictures of place settings with actual glassware. On the day of, they served our guests wine in plastic cups!

* our ceremony took place on the lower deck, which they promised to power wash the day before. on the day of, my cousins and friends were literally scrapping bird crap off of the benches because it had never been cleaned!

* ohh yeah and the kicker, we bought our own wine and a cash bar - our cash bar tab was over $1,200 and then we found out that they opened all of the wine bottles - but failed to actually serve them! so we got screwed paying all the corkage fee and then double what we had budgeted for the bar and then had 20 unopened bottles that were never put on the tables!

* the owner refused to speak with us at any time during or after this ordeal.
