MISSOULA COUNTY DETENTION CENTER, GARY EVANS , MISSOULA COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY, CHILD ABUSER AND THIEF, HEADS JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER MISSOULA Montana

Gary Lee Evans, a washed-up former cop and child abuser, has found a home as head of the Missoula County Juvenile Detention Center. Evans was fired from his last two law enforcement jobs for theft and inappropriate contact with a female employee, and was forced to work as a bus driver before MCSD decided to overlook his record and hire him to work with our most vulnerable population. He hates minorities and women, including Captain Susan Hintz (I will not repeat the name he calls her that sounds like her last name). He once broke the arm of a female police officer during training to "teach her a lesson: women don't belong in law enforcement."

Recently, his phone greeting said that if you couldn't speak English, to hang up and call back when you could. He hates animals, and beat, kicked, and choked his police K9 dog while he worked in Utah, hanging it by its choke collar while he kicked it repeatedly when it made a mistake. He has a sociopathic personality and is a pathologic liar. He should be forced to take a lie detector test to confirm these events.

I was married to Evans for 20 years before finally divorcing him after I caught him lying on top of my 13 year old daughter, forcing her to kiss him. This is the same daughter that he punched in the face so hard that he gave her a bloody nose, right in the parking lot of the detention center. When cofronted by these things, he said "Who are they going to believe, you or me?"

When I first met Evans, his wife had been killed in an accident, but instead of paying her funeral bill, he bought himself a new motorcycle with her insurance payout. The motorcycle was later reposessed, although he tried to hide it from his creditors His son was already a juvenile delinquent when we met, and had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by family members. Evans knew this occurred, but did nothing, most likely because he had participated in oral sex with a male family member himself. He also told me that when his son was 4 years old, he had slapped him so hard that he gave him a black eye.

He continued this path of abuse while we were married, and hid it by lying about it. He handcuffed his son to the bed when he misbehaved, and ended up dumping him in an empty house when he was 16 years old. My own son ran away from home and refused to return as long as Evans was still there.

We had three children, and Evans was so unstable that he abandoned them in a parked car in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City, which is defined as abuse by the state of Utah. He also abandoned all of us in midwinter in Montana in a house with no heat, taking all of the money left in our bank account. He didn't pay a cent of child support for 2 years, except $100 in stolen money that he sent. On the day we were divorced, he stole the last $90 I had in the bank. Of course, the Sheriff's department refused to prosecute him. This man deserves to BE in jail, not be in CHARGE of a jail.
