M&M painting Mark Zimmerman Wanted 1/2 down for deposit ,$2250, and did 4-6hrs of poor work over 3 days. I then asked him when he would be done as I have other contractors waiting. I came back to the job site and he vanished with all his equipment and let no paint that I thought I was paying for. His grunt workers had no idea what was going on....and no idea how to paint! Hired a painter for a remodel job on a house to include walls, doors, trim. Reasonable price inline with other bids. He said they would start on a Thursday but didn’t show to start till the following Monday and then over the next 3 days only put in roughly 6hrs. Had two people with him that he bossed around but it was obvious none of them had a clue what they were doing. The total was $4500.00. He wanted 2250$ down for material and to start. I paid cash and did not get a receipt which is on me. I called him day 4 and just asked him if he was going to finish in the time frame given and he said "yes, just let us do our job.” I was in no way disrespecting him but told him I was losing faith as he was not very productive to this point. I then returned to the site and he was all packed up and whipped past me when I tried to wave him down. His workers were still in the van behind him and said "mark says we quit.” I replied really after I just have him $2250?” They had no idea. Mark then called them and they rolled up the windows and took off. I called the sheriff and called/text mark and he has yet to respond. Be warned! This guy is a crook.
