Mountain Stone and Gravel Eddie BrownLauri McConkey Failure to Pay Freight Invoices Vero Beach Florida

We were hired to haul two loads of stone from CT down to FL for Mountain stone and gravel. First load 3/29/16. Second Load 4/8/16. The loads were picked up, transported and deliver as expected and in a timely manner. Both loads are now well past 60 days for payment and we have not seen a dime of the $5,589 that they still owe us.

I have tried more then 20 times to get ahold of the owner "Eddie Brown", but his cell phone is just a fake phone for people to call that never gets answered, even if it does ring. I have tried calling the store 20+ times to talk to accounts payable, but apparently she is A) Never working or B) Terrible at returning messages.

90% of the time, no one ever answers the phone, and if you are lucky enough to get the "pleasent" employee on the phone, you are told that its not her problem that you cant get ahold of anyone to get paid. This company is a SCAM and business should never be done with them. Im sure after looking at the previous report in regards to this company, this is somehow going to be my fault, but I assure you, the only thing I am liable for is making the decision to do business with these corrupt people who cant honor their contract to pay truckers for their services.

I know of 5+ companies that are in the same boat with these people, so if a lawyer sees this and wants to make a quick buck, give me a call.
