There are dozens of posts on this site about these scammers.
You have to disable cookies on your computer and also install an anti spyware/adware program.
Go to Yahoo and download and install the Yahoo Toolbar. It has an excellent anti spyware/adware removal tool.
Then disable cookies. Spyware and adware need cookies to work.
Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>Privacy>
then..before you click on the ADVANCED tab, check the box to block pop ups>
>>Now click the advanced tab and check box to over ride and also check to allow session cookies, then check prompt for both first party and third party cookies.
This will get you started.
Be sure you are running a firewall program and an antivirus program that is properly updated.
Have fun!

Hi Dennis. I've responded to many of the reports on Movieland on this site. Please use the search option and search for 'Movieland' and you will find out how to get rid of it via 3 different methods. One of them should work for you and rid you of the 'lady' trying to get you to pay to remove her from your screen.

I do not know where MovieLand is located nor do I know how to contact them. I started getting these pop ups about my 3 day free trial being expired with out a cacellation and I would have to pay a membership fee. I have never heard of MovieLand before this started. I have never signed up with them for a free trial or anything else. They say I signed up on 12-22-05. I was not at home on my computer at the time they say this happened. If you have any ideas as to how to stop this, I would appreciate it.
