Munchies Failure to refund money and verbal assault after injury on old rotten porch gave way Koh Phangan Surat thani

After booking a 6 night stay at Munchies bungalows on Koh Phangnan island in Thailand, we were disgusted at the verbal assault and lack of care the owner had shown. 

The bungalow itself was not cared for and the wood was rotting with rusted nails. The first night I leaned on the railing to hand a friend a  coconut when the entire porch railing gave out causing me to fall with bruises and scratches. 

The following morning the owner made a nasty comment that we should not sit on the railing when drunk. We then tried to sit him down to explain what had happened, and he said he would not talk to us, that he would not give us our money back, stood up started yelling at us to get out and flicking us off. 

We tried several times to find a solution, wether it was to fix the porch, as rusted nails were sticking out everywhere, put us in a different bungalow, etc, and the owner refused to talk to us. 

I have officially reviewed the company on tripadvisor, and discourged any another tourists from staying there, and then we left. 

They still have 5 nights of our money that they refused to pay back.
