Murrell Quality Automotive ripoff from hell, NO Quality inconsiderate, doesnt care about his customers only his pockets! FOUL MOUTH AND DISRESPECTFUL!! Birmingham Alabama

I went to this man to buy a car. He sales cars out of his auto shop. He recommended a certain car stating that it was reliable and it was that kind of car that he would allow his wife to drive. He said sincerely that he understands that I was a single mother and understands that I need something reliable. And that he wouldnt point out the car to me, if it wasnt any good. Stating that "he wouldnt do that to me!"

I put money down (300.00) and told him that it was to hold the car until my tax returns came in. He held it for me and said it wouldnt be a problem. 2 1/2 weeks later, I came in with the remaining balance to pay off the car. Mr. Murrell was rude and loud. He even got personal and asked me how many kids I had. I said 3 and he said rudely, "YOu need to stop f@ing!! You are f&$@ing too much!!!" I was offended but decided to leave it alone and leave before I said or did something I would regret.

I left the shop to go register the car and noticed that it was really loud, sounded like a transmission problem, and when I went over any bump or rock on the road, it felt like I would lose control of the car. It was really scary to drive in and felt unsafe for my kids and I.
I then had my boyfriend drive the car. He said I should return it because it was unsafe and sounded like they did a "quick fix" to the transmission. He then took over. He called Mr. Murrell and asked Mr. Murrell to trade the car. Mr.Murrells response was "Hell no!!" AFter talking to him more, Mr. Murrell decided to trade it in but we had to give him 500.00 extra.

We went to the shop, gave him the 500.00 for the trade. I thought the car we now had was not worth much but decided to take it because I THOUGHT IT RAN BETTER.

I took the car to get it registered, get the oil changed, transmission fluid, wiper changed, air filter changed, and more. AFter I left Jiffy Lupe, the car started driving funny. It would pick up speed, it kept jerking, and more.

WE called Murrell, he said come in tomorrow. We came in the next day and he said, "NO, I sold it as is! And i will be losing out if I allowed a trade. The car drove fine when you left. It is not my problem anymore."

Needless to say, it is obvious that he sells lemon cars!! He doesnt want to fix the problem. He refuses to fix anything or work with us. I gave him an extra 500.00 to get a better running car, instead I got a car that doesnt run. The 929 that I intially got was worth more than what I traded it in for (626)but I thought it was worth the 500.00 if I got something that ran well. HE IS A RIP OFF. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS MONEY!!
