Complaint Review: My flex jobs.com - Internet
My flex jobs.com My backup pc.com This company invited me by email. It seemed to be legit so I applied, little did I know AFTER I applied that in order perform the online jobs required, I had to download THEIR software. This software called Mybackup pc.com was the required software in fact it was mandatory to download and pay for this software. My flexjobs.com was to refund me for the 24.95 package software. I download it and it baced up ALL MY PERSONAL information, files. I return to the my flex jobs page to get an assignment, as was told to me in orientation; what I was instructed to do and it was required to upgrade these packages, 7 inall which I paid an additonal 70.00 for it. After I downloaded the upgrade, I immediately notice problems with my internet connections going in and out! I login to Mybackup pc, only to keep getting error pages or lost connections! I went back on to this Mybackup pc website and finally got a support email page, which I requested a refund! That was this past Saturdy 1/17/2015, and YET TO GET a RESONSE! I went to paypal to cancel ALL recurring payments, which was NOT DISCLOSED when applying for my flex jobs.com I uninstalled this software, or so I thought! I did a routine scan and found out that My backup pc was actually a malicous software and when uninstalled one "package" off my computer, I continue to have problems with my computer. In fact all the packages installed keep STORED IN MY FILE SECTION even though I did not go through with the myflexjobs.com.I did NOT even get the refund for the 24.95 package as promised or guaranteed whether I worked or not.I went on and filed a complaint to cancel my subscriptions, the recurring "pre approved" payments that I DID NOT AUTHORIZED! Internet
I was invited by Email, which I did not apply at any time with myflexjobs.com; so for starters they had access to my email address for an online job that pays up 23.50 an hour or around 24.00 an hour. I thought it was legit and put in my application. It was those jobs that are hard to come by and only advertise opening at certain time of the year. I thought ok it's legit. I went on to the orientation section as instructed. I was told what was available and the jobs was flexable. During this orientation, I was told that the ONLY WAY that I were going to be able to perform these assignments is if I paid for and download their backup software; a requirement. This software My backup pc was to cost 24.95 and once certified and get an assignment, I would recieve this 24.95 back.I went on and downloaded their software, which backup all my personal files. It was required and still did not suspect anything. After I did the certification process which included using my credit, debit to verify my identity, and was told not to use paypal to pay for the software and to verify my identity. I only had the money in my paypal account to pay for this software; an unexpected expense with the guarantee that I was to get refunded for this software. I complete the certification process as instructed prior to purchasing the software; I then went on to the my flexjobs website to get an assignment. I was then told to get an assignment, I had to upgrade my software to the highest quality package. I needed this job so I went to upgrade to the super package, that was not high enough. I went to upgrade as an requirement to the super package the exclusive package and was persuaded to order and download the exclusive packages to get the best assignments. I spent an additonal 70.00 unexpected dollars only to login to my flexjobs.com page to now get an assignment. After downloading these packages, a message appears saying wait up to 60 minutes to log back in to comfirm.I kept getting redirected in circles with my flex jobs and going back to the orientation page, then to get error messages and unable to connect to this server. I noticed my internet going in and out only to return to the mybackup pc page and get an unable to connect to page. i finally had to open a two more browsers just to get back on to mybackup pc to finally get to a phone number and a support email service; so I left an email requesting all my money back that I did not expect to spend being told it was free to join myflexjobs! This happened on Saturday 1/17/2015 and I have yet to receive a response. I went on two days later to login to paypal to cancel my suscriptions and my recurring payments, and to request a refund. I did a routine scan today only to discover that what I had downloaded was malicious software and a virus causing problems needing my immediate attention.I had to download another piege of software to repair the damage to my computer which costed 69.95 for each malicious software removal! Not on;y do I want the 24.95 required software and a guaranteed refund of that I have yet to receive, but the additional 70.00 I spent on upgrades for the my flexjobs.com which I could never get to the assignment page, because I either kept getting redirected or losing my internet connection. My backup pc had access to my personal information for days after I thought I had uninstalled! I'm getting strange phone calls at all times of day and night, and also very strange email which could be very developing from this malicous software. This damage to my computer has caused my a lot of money that I don't have and severe emotional distress! I want the refunds requested and a settlement reached to cover damage to my computer and severe emotional distress,in which in my present health has cause some asthma flare-ups!
