This is lengthly and I will revise as needed. There was a company (Resveratrol) charging my bank without my permission after I cancelled. I have 2 banks accounts here. One account is for things I order online and I only keep enough money in it for this. The bank never even informed me but charged me ISF 14 times. Each isf charge was $34 for charges from a company that I I called and cancelled more than once. The bank said they couldn't block them. Then then bank charged me International fees or 2% for each time the company charged me. I was charged isf for each of these also. 2% International fee = $1.95 then charge me isf of $34. Wow unbelieveable. I went to the bank and was told (like I should be happy) they refunded some of the charges. I was told if I transfered at that time money in that account I wouldn't get charged the overdraft fee. But again I got charged so the check I wrote for rent didn't cash. Since I was told I wouldn't be charged as long as I transfered it at that time I only put enough money to cover the check leaving a few dollars extra. Since I was charged anyway although I was told for sure I wouldn't be there was not enough money to cover the check. Now the owner of the apartment in angry and wants to charge me extra. I immediately called and wrote the bank "again" about this and was told, "since it was after 8 pm (which it wasn't) during the transfer time that it wasn't posted yet the following business day when the check tried to cash. I repeatedly told the man on the phone and in an email that I was at the bank when I was told to transfer. I was assured I would not be charged. But I guess a banks word means nothing these days. I have been very ill and have had a hard time taking care of this for the past 2 weeks. I feel better now. As a note I have online bank alerts and received nothing. Also every time I transfered money between accounts it was available immediately until now. It took from Friday at 4:30 until Tuesday morning.
