National Relief Group They Stole $3,000 and Lost My House Irvine, California

In December, I contacted the National Relief Group about saving my home. They said that they would be able to help me and modify my loan. They said it would cost $3,000 to save my home and negotiate with my lender. I didnt have the money, but I borrowed it from friends. I really didnt want to lose my home, after making 12 years of payments, but I lost my job so I couldnt keep up with the payments. After I paid them the $3,000, the wanted some more information from me which I provided. After 5 months of them "working" on my case, I was denied by my lender for a modification, which National Relief Group promissed me they would be able to help me with. I tried to get a refund, but they said that there were no guarantees. I tried calling the attorney general, and after speaking to him, I heard that you cant charge for a modification. Because I was not in California where they are located, it was difficult for me to press charges at the time. My home and my dreams were sold on March 12.
