I am submitting this complain to this website to let the general public about Nationwide Law Center, Formerly Mortgage Modification Center and William D. Goodrich.

About a month or so ago I received a mailer from this law firm regarding the MODIFICATION of my mortgage.  I then contacted Nationwide Law Center and Spoke to Michael Wolfe after days of conversation I finally took the bait and retained this law firm to represent me as I was trying to MODIFY my loan so that I could save my home from foreclosure.

However all these people did was take $2000 from me and never contacted me again.  I called numerous times and left several messaged but I did not receive a call back.  I have requested my refund from this office however they just tell me they have to review the file for close out.  How lond does it take them to review a file when they only had for about 2 weeks.

I took it upon myself to research Nationwide Law Center, the first thing I discovered was that a couple weeks ago the operations manager on the  BBB website was Michael Wolfe but when I checked yesterday they have a Steve Ward as Operations Manager but I called the 1-800-363-0509 and requested to speak to Steve Ward only to find out that they don't have any one working there by that name.   I also found out that Michael Wolfe was hired to "remove" or "hide" such complaints from their current and future clients.

This place is not a LAW FIRM it is a company created to SCAM the hard working American population  and to rip them off of what little savings they had.

My advice to everyone who may be in need of such services please DO NOT USE this company unless you  are ready to throw away your money.  The first thing you should do is contact your lender and find out what documents are being requested and submit them yourself with a good letter of why you are need of a modification.

****NATIONWIDE LAW CENTER IS A SCAM***

NATIONWIDE LAW

AUTHOR: alex - ()

POSTED: Friday, July 18, 2014

Mr. Jones

You are speaking on behalf of Nationwide law and commenting that they are a legal and presentable company on the up and up????    YOU ARE A BIG FAT LIAR!   That company along with yourself have ripped off a bunch of consumers.  You get their last check and then disappear disconnecting phone lines so you scumbags don't have to hear the constant ringing of desperate people not wanting to lose their homes.

I was one of those people and I am leading the law into one of the biggest law suits against yourself and this despicable company.  My question to you is how do you sleep at night?

Another victim of the Nationwide Law Center

AUTHOR: Marina V. - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, October 08, 2013

Nationwide Law Center is the law firm that disappeared on me two month ago without any resolution of my case that I signed with them in July 2012. Their phone number (914)449-8990 is out of service right now, and I don’t have a way to get in contact with them. By the way, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) does not handle claims about legal services. Thus whoever wrote the rebuttal on behalf of Nationwide Law Center probably knew that already. I am another victim of their scam!!

After eager affirmations from Jennifer Marra, the Intake Specialist of Nationwide Law Center, that she guarantees this firm will successfully save my house from upcoming foreclosure and help me with the  loan modification process, I paid them the requested flat fee of $3700 in 3 monthly installments. Last installment was completed on September 9, 2012. For whole year I didn’t receive any effective actions from Nationwide Law Center, but only reports from Ashley Acevedo and Marianne Baldwing, the Legal Processors, requesting more and more documents that supposedly they need in order to submit them to underwriting to my lender. And until today, I wish that somebody from the Nationwide Law Center finally resolve my loan modification case or refund my money back to me, because I strongly believe that this company is not only doing their job, but scamming hard-working Americans by using them in their desperate need!

As a client of this law firm, I would love to contact their office and see that my case will be “we handled “with compassion and professionalism.” Where are you, people with “pride in your work”??!

NLC Takes Pride in our Services - We are NOT a Scam - Please Read

AUTHOR: Nationwide Law Center - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 15, 2012

Mr. Jones,

At Nationwide Law Center we take pride in our work and ability to help homeowners avoid foreclosure and receive successful loan modifications. Your letter was brought to our attention and we would like to reach out to you. It has also been brought to our attention that letters like this one have been submitted by previous employees attempting to slander the company they once worked for. After a review, we have no record of a Mr. Jones from Utah or any of the close surrounding states ever opening a file with our company. Our phone calls are recorded, and no such call can be found. We also would like to note that not one of our services is $2000. Loan modifications with our company are a flat fee of $3700.  In cases such as yours, of financial hardship, payments are broken down into 3 or 4 monthly installments, depending on how much you can afford each month. Thus, you are paying for our services as they are completed. If you had given us your initial installment and not heard back from us, which we feel would not have happened, the most you would have been charged is $975.00 which would have been refunded to you, if you felt we were not doing our job.

It saddens us that you have presented this information on this site, which offers no plan of action for a solution to your case.  If you are a client of a law firm and get into a situation where you cant get in contact with them, it is encouraged that you contact the BBB or the bar in order to get your issues resolved- not a Ripoff Report. It is also a disappointment to our company and Michael Wolfe himself for including his name in this. Michael Wolfe is one of our Leading Specialists and has helped countless families receive successful loan modifications and save their homes. If anyone has spoken to him on the phone, you would know this information is inaccurate. We, nor he, are ever trying to bait you into doing business with our company. You either want our services or you dont, there is not much of a grey area here.

To Mr. Jones, if there really is one, we would love to rectify this situation. Please come forward with your correct name and information and we will gladly refund your money, or get you the loan modification that you need. To any/all that have and are going to view this, please note that we encourage you to check us out at the BBB and the bar. We are not scamming Americans out of their hard earned money. We too are working hard for our money and many of our employees are or have been in the same situation as our clients; and so, we handle each client with compassion and professionalism. Please feel free to contact our office and speak to us if you have any questions and again Mr. Jones, please contact us so we can resolve this issue.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Nationwide Law Center
