Although I will probably never get a dime back from them it is with great pleasure that I am able to write this report to help steer any potential clients away from NATIONWIDE TAX RELIEF. Let me just begin by saying that their fees are outrageous. I was able to get my tax case settled using an accountant for $300 as opposed to the many many thousands that I spent with them. The crux of my complaint lies in the fact that there has been (by there own admission) zero  performance on one of my contracts with them and they still refuse to refund me my money. Now I am not a lawyer but I am working with one and have studied law in school and I know it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that when one doesn't perform on a contract then the contract is null and void. They are trying to use some excuse that it was the second part of a one two punch but it still doesn't address the fact that they haven't performed (not even one minute worth of time has been paid to it) on that contract. When I asked my attorney over there about it his response was that there has been zero performance since the state hasn't contacted us yet. In my opinion this is clearly an effort to sidestep there obligations and not return my money. My other gripe with them is on the first contract, although minimal, there was some performance,. I canceled my services with them once I realized that I could get this done for $300 and much quicker from a local accountant. When I requested a financial statement from them showing the time spent and what I had left they either could not or just flat out refused to provide this to me. So not only are they refusing to refund my money on a contract that was never performed on they are also refusing to refund any money on a contract that was never completed. Lastly my complaint with them is that they are not fully forthright with you when they give you an initial evaluation. When I first called they informed me that I qualified for a settlement, what they failed to disclose was that if in the time that you are working with them that if your income happens to increase this may disqualify you from a settlement and once disqualify you from receiving any refund. Do yourself a favor don't only avoid this company avoid any of these crooks. Contact a local accountant and save yourself thousands.
