The sexual charges against Hendler were dismissed. Look at Justice and Truth website for a copy of the dismissal. Why does Google keep the accusations posted, but never reports dismissals? Thats the real rip-off. Newspapers sell more papers reporting accusations, not acquittals. So Google and the Sunpapers are ripping off their readers by not printing the whole truth. The only reason to buy the Sunpapers is if you have a bird. Read Hendlers resume. He was a star. He diagnosed me, when all the other quacks in Pennsylvania told me my pain was all in my head. Hendler got me the right surgery, and I got well after 3 years of being misdiagnosed in Johnstown. He lost his medical license when an old girlfriend wanted to get him. I knew her, because she worked at the clinic. Everyone hated her, and a lot of the staff, who had been there for years, began to quit, when she began to work there. That was Hendlers biggest mistake.

Not sure why the person who wrote the report posted false information, either intentionally or because he was unaware of the truth. I was a patient of Dr. Hendler's many years ago I am sorry to see what has happened to this man.

Dr. Hendler plead guilty:

articles.baltimoresun.com/2006-02-09/news/0602090251_1_hendler-patients-clinic
The Maryland Board of Physicians has suspended the license of a nationally known pain specialist, alleging that the Baltimore County psychiatrist traded drugs for sex with patients and handed out pain pills without proper prescriptions.
Dr. Nelson H. Hendler, medical director and founder of the Mensana Clinic in Stevenson, also is alleged to have had an affair with a patient. Investigators said he admitted having a romantic relationship with the woman, identified as "Patient A." The complaint said she accused him of shoving and choking her in a Baltimore hotel room on July 4, 2004.
Last year, police searched Hendler’s Mensana Clinic in Stevenson and found 5,800 pills, including OxyContin, that should have been destroyed. Police said the large amount shows Hendler intended to distribute the drugs.

Psychiatrist Nelson H. Hendler is defending himself in a case brought by a former patient who says that he sexually abused her. This is not the first accusation against the once prominent physician, who lost his license to practice medicine in February 2006 after the Maryland Board of Physicians determined that he committed sexual misconduct against several patients and gave out medication even though he didn't have the proper permit.
The woman who brought this case claims that Hendler acted with her the way he did with his other patient victims. He allegedly convinced a number of patients that he was the only person who could help them and then took sexual advantage of them. Hendler is also accused of giving medication to women, even those who didn't have prescriptions for the drugs, in exchange for sexual favors. Hendler has already settled a number of Maryland injury lawsuits against him from some of the women that are alleging medical malpractice and sexual abuse.
In 2007, Hendler submitted an Alford plea to one count of possession with intent to distribute drugs. The psychiatrist acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict him but did not plead guilty. He received a probation sentence before judgment, which caused a conviction to be staved off.
