This company knows how to use people and talk people into spending thousands of dollars for nothing! I was called last year by a man name Ryan Brown to start a business where you can sell gps tracking devices for automobiles, etc. My husband and I have been looking for an on-line business that we could do to make extra money, because my husband recently became disabled.

Ryan used high-pressure tactics to make us buy into this business. We payed 1,490 at first, and was promised that if we didn't make any money off this company that they give a year guarantee on the business. We would get a full refund. Well, that was lie #1! We let them charge our credit cards, got the little paperwork to start this so called business.

From day one, they didn't know what they were doing. All we were suppose to do is advertise the web site and the devices would sell themselves. No cold calling, etc. Well, not too many days later, Shelly called and somehow talked me into this "Guaranteed Hits Program". I paid 7,500 for 30,000 leads in three years. I don't normally do this, but we were desparate for an income, and Shelly assured us, we would get around 6% of these 30,000 people, that would be good leads and if even half of the 6% buys a unit, we would make 180,000 dollars. That sounded real good to me. I told her we would have to make this money back pretty quick, because we maxed out our credit card to buy into this. She assured us we would definetly make money and soon! Lie #2,3,4!

Needless to say, no sales, no hits, nothing! I emailed, called my "personal coach" Ha! and nothing. It took days, sometimes weeks to get a response. I started getting real frustrated. Credit card bill came in, no money to pay for it!

Shelly disappeared, quit or who knows what. I requested a full refund for my money. Total of 8,990. They would not give me a refund because I signed the papers saying once the website was started, you could not get your money back. Well, how do you try out a company that has a year guarantee on it, when you don't start a web site?

Then Dan Marsh comes on the scene. He calls, assurese me everything will begin to work, bla, bla, bla, and he tells me just give it time, the money will start rolling in. He also told me from that day forward that their would be a year guarantee on the "guaranteed hits program", if it didn't start bringing results, they would give me my money back. Lie!

Their was nothing I could do, but wait and see what happens. I checked my back office everyday. I had a total of 5 leads, in 3 monthes, but none bought the product. Then I find out that Dan Marsh is gone! So I have to start all over again explaining why I wanted my money back.

I could go on and on. Now my website does not work, they won't give me my money back, because I didn't get the guarantee in writing and I am waiting on them to call me back. FAT CHANCE!

#2 Consumer Suggestion

Disputing with Credit Card Company

AUTHOR: Which Not To Disclose - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 03, 2004

I have read all these report and is very upsetting to hear how this company conducts business especially with the amount of money invested. I work with a credit card dispute department and just wanted to advise I do understand their are limited option on how to dispute the charges billed to your credit card and if you can get any information from me that would assist you I suggest you use it.

First off, I just want to explain if you are investing a large sum of money in a company it is always best to find out all the information concerning the services a company will provide (preferebally in writing because verbal agreements are usually not binding), the dates you should be expecting the services, maintain all records such as person you speak with at the company (first and last name and employee# if possible), date of communications, request to know their cancellation policy upfront prior to giving your credit card which would indicate approval of their terms and conditions, maintain copies of any invoices, contracts, sales slips, fax or email confirmations and/ or communications.

Please always read the fine prints prior to signing anything because written aggreements override verbal aggreements. I understand this is a lot of information but it is your best bet of not getting ripped off. As far as net direct what happen in this situation is most of you signed up for a no refunds once the website construction begins. If the website construction has not begun you do need to request for a refund in writing and return any goods or material received and allow them 30 days to process a credit to your account.

If the credit is not posted to your account request for a credit and provide them with the proof of cancellation and the refund should be issued to your account. Now as far as once the website construction has begun you do need to wait the full expected timeframe before being able to dispute the charge on your credit card account. For example net direct would promise 30,000 hits within 3 years, unfortunately you do need to wait 3 years to receive these hits, if you do not receive these 30,000 hits within 3 years then you can dispute it on your credit card that they did not provide you with their guaranteed services and that would ovveride their no refund cancellation policy. Don't let them deceive you that you did something wrong by not being able to sell their merchandise and thats why their not refunding you. I wish you all the best of luck on your new business venture. Hopefully net direct will get their act together.

net.direct marketing, who market a product called direct track are some of the worst type of bizop scam artists I have ever worked for. Having been taken through their training, it looked to me like this was a genuinely good business that people could make money from.

After a few days my suspicions started. We had been told to tell prospective customers that we needed a fast decision because they had to be ready to take advantage of their national advertising campain in 2 weeks time. I have since found out from other employees who have been there many months that this promise has been made from day one and THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANY SUCH ADVERTISING. The new sales staff are continuously told that there have been "production delays". Its just not true.

The owner, Paul Angel, is a salesman and is very proud of the fact that he can push people into buying something they don't want. You WILL NOT MAKE MONEY WITH THIS SYSTEM. Do the math. They tell people they only have about 250 distributors nationwide, but have been operating for over a year in this business, with 7 different offices. And don't fall for their " Triple your money in 90 days or you owe us nothing more on the business" You will not make any money and will still owe them $25 a month for the web hosting, and more importantly, you will be BEYOND THE 60 DAY DEADLINE TO REQUEST A REFUND FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

They will often drop the price of the business down as low as $300 to get your money. DON'T DO IT. Even at 300 bucks you will lose your money and get only heartache in return. And if you DO sign up, they have "Reloaders" who will sell you advertising leaflets for $0.75 each (BTW, if you are in this situation, you can use the free one you get with your IBO kit and get it copied at Kinkos for MUCH less than that) and they will sell you guarenteed "hits" on your web page. You won't get them. They have no targeted marketing. They don't even advertise their own business, they get the information from Carlton Sheets, the real estate infomercial people, and break telemaketing laws by phoning people who have NEVER had an interest in this business, even if they are on the "Do Not Call" register.

A BAD company all round. If you want to complain to the boss, his name is PAUL ANGEL, the main office is at 2600 N. Hayden Rd suite 325, Scottsdale, AZ.85251. The phone number is 800-804-5001 , and the email address for Paul Angel is paul@direct-track.com
