The state is hiding the ball of its intentions. Numerous conversations have obviously occurred within the Division about saving money - its always about the money... never our lives - and there are proposed hearings on October 22nd statewide. When asked to provide information so that we will be as well informed as the state employees, we were told there is no information to provide.
Did they simply miss our smiling faces? (or our pissed off withered and tried faces!)
Really?
No information for people and providers to read ahead of time to be able to come to the meeting having researched the issues and ready to give informed opinion?
How 'bout we all simply call the directors office 684-3676 or email them:
E-Mail Us! and say "Say it ain't so Chuck! We want to know what you already know! Give us the SAME information your staff has worked for months on! That is equality under our american system.
And while you are at it, call that worthless bunch of loafers at the Nevada Disabilitiy Advocacy and Law Center 1-800-992-5715 and tell them to get off their butts and find us the information! They work for us!
