This guy calls & sounds very convincing, but this has all the earmarks of a scam. He will not send proof of the debt, nor will he give up any of his information, such as an address. I got his phone number by default. He wanted me to call back with credit card information.
He claims that if it is not paid TODAY a claim will be filed in court for defrauding a lending institution, & that there will be further court costs of up to $6000 & or jail time. If you don't pay right then he gets frustated & angry & hangs up.
Allways ask for more evidence & proof before you'll pay! They have to provide it if they are legitimate.
