Hopefully you are researching this festival before you give them money. I did because the vibe I got from them was shady, to say the least, and I am very glad I did. When you fill out the online application, you will get a call very soon afterwards informing you that they are "very interested" in your work. You will be flattered. They will continue on a track that is very "hard sell" at which point, you should be wondering why they are doing that. No other film festival does that.

They will tell you about the "money-back guarantee" if your film is not accepted. Don't believe it. Of course your film will be accepted. This is not a competitive festival, and the odds that it will produce anything for you are small. If you decide to still send them $400, and it works for you, then I'm glad, but if you're a broke filmmaker, don't believe them. Research other film festivals and you will realize that this one is a sham. I am putting this testimonial here as there are already several others elsewhere warning of this scam. For example, you can go to and read several testimonials of how they operate and how they treated other filmmakers. Film festivals do not cost $400 per entry fee. It is a ripoff. Do not believe them.
