Newcomers High School's Dangerous Teacher Newcomers High School Volatile teacher on faculty of high school

I have seen reports about one Sophia Zannis. It was my bad experience that the information alleged in the reports are 100% true and accurate. The idea of this woman working for Newcomers High School is not only outrageous but it's dangerous. What is the New York City Department of Education thinking of, to allow such an individual to work with students? What is the administration of Newcomers High thinking? I can not stress enough how destructive she is, and volatile, too. I have seen her in "explosive mode" and it is not a pretty sight. It is, in fact, quite terrifying.

You don't want to have a teacher explode all over a student, Newcomers High, do you? Or do you? This woman tells one lie about herself after another, simply to garner sympathy and attention. She lives for attention. It's like watching a toddler. She is, in fact, worse than the most obstreperous child because her lies are just so evil and sick. She lies that her parents died during the same year when she was a child. They died several years apart when she was an adult. She also lies that her father left her nothing when he died, but he did.

That's the worst of her lies but there are many, many more examples I could relate. I don't relate them all because it would take me well past midnight. Let me add that I believe at the center of her crap and nonsense is a very deep hatred of herself. She can't abide people's differences. If you aren't interested in the same things she is, she tries to take you over, mind, heart, body and soul and change you into a creature similar to herself, for that way she would not have to face that she's different, and not in a good but an unfortunate way. Her truthfulness is non-existent. Her values don't exist. Her need to attack anyone who threatens her by doing their own thing takes her over and makes her crazy.

Then there are the constant stories about men. If true, and who knows if they're true, since nothing else she says is, but if true, then this is the last sort of person who ought to be standing before students as an example. The idea that Newcomers High School and the NYC DOE have this one teaching students in a school that caters to immigrants is appalling to the Nth degree. Whoever is running the DOE and whoever is principal of Newcomers High School desperately need to take a closer look at who they're letting in. Maybe she's working in such a school because the DOE thinks the parents of illegal aliens would be less inclined to sue if there is a problem with a teacher who has more issues than the Newsweek archive.
