I was searching for a Pekingese puppy & found this specific website advertising them for 50% off. I sent a contact email asking a question & the next thing I know a man calling himself "Mike" sent me a text. We conversed back & forth then he stated he needed $450 dollars sent by Western Union & he would have the puppy overnighted to me. Warning bells should have gone off in my head but my head has been in a fog since this past Monday when my Pekingese dog passed away. I went to Western Union & sent the money for next day delivery. Well, he got the money & then came back to me via text saying he needed $950 for a shipping crate but that it's only a deposit, that I'd get the money back & said I had to go to Walmart & send it Walmart to Walmart. I asked for "current" pics of the puppy which was supposed to be a female & I ended up getting pics of a male...he said his son was taking the pics for him b/c he was at work. I then told him I didn't have they $950 "deposit money" & to just cancel my order & refund they money I had already paid since the website says "100% Satisifaction Guaranteed" with a 30day full refund if you cancel your order, no questions asked. He said he could pay part of it & I would only have to pay $300...then the $300 went up to $350. I told him since his website states "free shipping" I shouldn't have to pay anymore money & he kept trying to reassure me that it's only a deposit. I told him if he wasn't able to ship the puppy for the amount I had already paid him then I just wanted a full refund. He came back saying he was a lawyer & no one would prosecute him.
