I was contacted by Dominick Cordone from NFM Lending, who stated that they had a purchase transaction that needed to be closed.

They emailed me the documents, I printed them out using my own supplies, drove to the borrowers home and proceeded to perform the closing.  As was agreed, I returned the documents in a timely fashion.

I never heard from them again.  I called Dominick a few months later, sent emails requesting payment but never did receive it.

This company and Dominick Cordone are a bunch of thieves as far as I'm concerned.

2013 marks NFM, Inc.s 15th anniversary. For the past 15 years NFM, Inc. has pride their selves on being responsive and professional in all aspects of our business. In this incident NFM, Inc. was not aware of any outstanding issue. As soon as we became aware of the problem (via the rip-off report) we immediately searched for the author in order to resolve the situation. Once our staff researched the situation, we did everything necessary to correct the situation. From the authors response you can see that we stand by our word and ensure that we quickly and efficiently correct any problems that may arise. If the author contacted our corporate office prior to writing the above post, NFM, Inc. would have handled the situation with the same level of importance and service.

We ask that should anyone have a problem or question about NFM, Inc. or one of our employees they contact our corporate office directly. This can be done by emailing info@nfmlending.com or calling our toll free number, 888-233-0092.

IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE TAKE NOTE

AUTHOR: NJDiva - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 15, 2013

I would like to rescind the negative comments I posted on this company.  It seemed like the very next day after my report, I received a call from NFM requesting information on my complaint.  When I presented the information, NFM was very accommodating and said they were not aware that this was outstanding and assured me they would go above and beyond to make it right.

It appears that this company is very reputable (at least they are in my book) and I now realize that it was not necessarily the company, but maybe the employee who inadvertently dropped the ball.

Bernadette Pearson was incredibly professional and followed up diligently to get this misunderstanding rectified as quickly as possible.  I held it up because I was so incredibly busy and unable to address the requests necessary to get it taken care of in a more timely manner.

I think if it were up to NFM, I would have been paid my fee the next day.  They sent payment the day after I presented the information corroborating my complaint.

I have no doubt whatsoever that it was clearly a miscommunication and that it should not be a reflection on the company.

Thanks Bernadette for all your help.
