After considerable research, I hired this company to get my daughter's car from PA California. We had a time restraint and this company assured me no longer than 3 days. The also told me they used their own trucks and didn't contract out so I felt it was worth me spending the higher price of their quote to have peace of mind that the car would get to my daughter in the time frame we needed.

Then the mind games began. I literally sat by the phone for an entire weekend waiting for them to call and get the car. It was past the 3 days they had told me was the time limit to wait and I couldn't reach them at all. I called and called and called for 3 days. The few times I could reach someone, the day was changed each time. Now we were into the next week with no sign of them coming for my car.

This started on a Thursday afternoon. (Originally they said Tuesday pick up) My husband and I had a weekend away planned but someone had to stay home for the car and it was me. I started to panic because of our time restraint so I started investigating other ways to get the car to California. This was also hours and hours of frustrating phone calls to other companies, people who maybe could drive it for me, moving companies, etc.

After days of this, I had no choice but to find another way to get the car to California and my only option was paying someone $2500.00 dollars. This was more than twice the amount of North American Auto Transport. Their price was $1050.00.

After I hired this driver I officially canceled North American Auto Transport. Throughout this ordeal I could not get through to these people! When I did, I was lied to about someone calling me back. I was lied to about a refund coming "in the mail," about people I needed to talk to being in meetings or on vacation or out for lunch. It didn't matter anyway because no one in 3 month of trying has ever called me back.

They told me I broke the contract. How could they know if they never answered the phone! I feel they owe me a lot more than the deposit of $200.00 for the aggravation they caused as well as a lost weekend. This company has caused me so much stress I can't even describe it. I do feel it's a scam and something should be done to stop them!

I read other reports similar to mine. Why are they allowed to get away with this! The only time they called me was when I asked for a quote on the internet!
