I was a member of the survey site, Npdor.com, for almost 10 years. In exchange for taking surveys, you get points to use at another site, Sweepland.com, to enter contests.
My issues are these:
1. Neither of the sites will ever say how long you have been a member of them, since they do not want you to know how much time you have wasted.
2. Their instant win games are fixed. Once I did their "wheel" of chance, the ball fell on the $500 spot, but the next instant it conveniently "jumped" to the next spot which was for only more points.
3. If you ever have the gall or nerve to email them your feelings, you are automatically taken out of both databases, Npdor.com and sweepland.com. What ever happened to free speech? They do not like their practices to be questioned.
4. In all of 10 years, never once did I win a contest. Now, I would believe that at least once in all that time the odds would move in my favor. I could understand if I only entered the bigger contests that everyone else enters, but I only ever entered the lower contests such as for $100 or the daily prize.
5. They say that they do not list the brand of their winning items to protect the surveys. I submit that they do not list the brands because the brands do not exist.
6. They do not have a spot for winners to say how much they appreciate winning or saying that they did win. I, also, submit that this is true because no one has ever won.

NPDOR/VIP Voice Not a scam!

AUTHOR: Bill - ()

POSTED: Sunday, January 19, 2014

I'm sorry the complaintant had a bad experience with NPDOR/VIP Voice. I have been taking surveys with them since October, 2011; I however, cannot complain. They clearly state that the points you spend on buying chances with survey points earned do not guarantee you to win anything. You do not have to spend any points, you are automatically entered into cash prize drawings for taking surveys. Now they also give participants a chance to buy prizes at auction using the points they earn from surveys. On January 17, 2013, VIP Voice notified me that I won a drawing prize, it was a personal electronics device. No they dont give brand names out on the drawing site because if one wins they give you a choice of about a dozen different products you can choose as your prize. It may not be what you put in to win on the drawing, I was pleased that they do give you a choice of items.  I chose to get a pair of Sony noise-cancelling headphones, that is a brand name, I believe.

They also do not have the spin and win game anymore. It was replaced with the prize auction. I can't say that was crooked, I never won anthing but extra points to put into drawing chances, and I never won any prizes as a result of that.

They absolutely display winners names, my name is in there now as a recent winner; Bill G, Detroit. Go look on VIP Voice in recent winners in Sweepland.  They may not have testimonials on the site, but I testify here, that people DO win on that site!

In my estimation, the complaintant is just expressing sour grapes. probably expected something for nothing, if he doesnt want to take chances on winning he should stick to sites that pay cash for surveys such as Survey Spot or Opinion Square and not gamble on a site like VIP Voice.

With several million participants on this site, one cannot reasonably expect to win any kind of prize, large or small, the odds just are not there. I figured if one is lucky, he may win a prize every tweleve years or so, so the complaintant, giving up after ten years, if he actually took surveys regularly all that time, gave up about two years too early! I take surveys on this site because they are very short and I can play this like the lottery without having to spend any money for lottery tickets, if I win something, great, but if I don't, Im not going to whine and complain that the site is a rip-off! I guess I won't win anything again for about a dozen years now, but I may save my points and try to buy a prize at auction. The points are returned to you, BTW, if you dont win the auction; unlike other auction sites that you spend your points on an auction, and they are gone win or lose.

I have my doubts about some survey sites, but not this one. If someone does not win anything, it is just they didnt get chosen, not because it is a rip-off. How can something be a rip-off when you dont spend any thing on it?  If you feel like you are wasting your time on taking suveys on this site, then just quit!

It's not a scam

AUTHOR: CBlank - (United States of America)

It's not a scam, unfortunately the odds are never in your favor to win because you really don't know how many people are entering even the lower valued prizes. I have been a member of the panel for about 3 1/2 years and I actually did win.  I won a grill (turned out to be a weber) and a cooler full of Omaha Steak products.  I won that after being on the site for about a year.  I haven't won anything since, but since this is primarily a marketing research company trying to gain opinions I don't mind that I haven't won since then.  Unfortunately your claim that no one has ever won is not true, as I said I have won.  Now, I don't expect I'll win again but I continue to do surveys because I do enjoy them.
