NSS Magazine Services ripoff, unauthorized magazine renewal charge on credit card Stamford Connecticut

Thanks for this online report site. I was angry with their automated answering phone and had no way to get the money back. The search of the telephone number on google directed me to here and learned how to reach a person with that number.

I called and did not answer any questions of the automated attendant and got to a woman. She said they sent out a postcard and didn't received any response so they automatically renewed the magazine. This is not true. I never received any notice from them. I changed my address but have all mails forwarded. I contacted the magazine publisher too. The publisher have not received a renewal on my account.

I refused any promotion from them and demanded immediate refund. She siad it need 3 business days. She also said
1 to 2 billing cycles to credit.

I don't know if I should trust her.Anything else can I do?

I suggest you don't take any offer of free magazine if you are asked to give your credit number. I took the offer from www.bizrate.com - after a survey for an internet purchase.
