This doctor charges for no shows; however in understanding that as long as you call in the day before stating you would not be able to make it you would think this would be taken care of. My wife did this on 2 occasions. 1x for our cat and 1x each for both of our dogs (who had an appointment at the same time).
Thinking that since we called the day before and left a message on thier answering machine we were covered - and not be charged. That is not the case; 7 months or so later they have now sent us to collections. Charging us for our cat no show (166.00 + 25.00 fee for a total of 191.00) and when I called to dispute this they said they could put our dog no shows in collection as well.
This is just not right, I have never delt with a company who charges such an outragous amount for a no-show and will not honor a message left the day before to cancel the appointment. In speaking to the collection department they stated they get a lot of these collection reports from this company, so beware.
