 At Oak Leaf Kids Academy I have witnessed many things go on that should never be done in child care. For starters, the director is never around. She stays in her office glued to her phone, or is with her boyfriend who is constantly at the daycare. The assistant director is up in the front office on her phone as well. She will constantly come into the classroom and be nosy to see what you're doing and who you're talking about and what is going on in your personal life. She also has an inappropriate relationship with another employee that is the Schoolers teacher. They are constantly joking about how he is her kids "daddy" when she is married with three children of her own. The facility is run down, dirty, the classrooms smell like poopy diapers, the toys are old, and the books are falling apart. When teachers ask for new toys, the director Ms. April Moses, says that the daycare gets new toys every six months, when in fact that is not true at all. The school does not have a curriculum set in place. The kids learn only what the teachers want to instruct them to learn. Teachers come in and out of this facility. There is no structure in any of the classrooms. When teachers are sick and call in they are told that they have to come in or else they will lose their job. They have no care for your well being. They want you to come in sick. They do not care if you contaminate the kids with your illness. They want you there because the management can't and won't step in a classroom because they are too busy talking about their staff. There have been many reports of child neglect and child abuse from this daycare that have been reported to google reviews as well as yelp reviews. One report shows a child being locked in a closet with chemicals in it. The director told the teacher to lie to state when they came in to investigate the situation. Another report was of a baby who has handprints and claw marks on his legs. The same situation happened again where the management told the staff members to lie to state so that they wouldn't get into any trouble. It sickens me that this place is allowed to stay open. They should he investigated by state, and law enforcement.
