This is Tommy Tarver. See how easy that is. I have never cursed anyone out here. I have curesed at some that hve curesed at me and you know I was wrong for that . I should not let myself be lowered to someone I am sure didnt pay their rent and was evicted. This site is a great Idea. If the TRUTH was what was told here . There are places that I am sure are bad and people should be able to do research on it. This is not a bad place and its getting better by this post at least by one. HA. Please people, dont just read a few comments from people that have been kicked out and now try to SLANDER me and the property. Come and see for yourself. We are pretty laid back and we are most willing to set up a package that is right for you. If we cant then at least you got to see for yourself and didnt just take anothers words for it. This is a safe and fun property. We do have our flaws like every other property. But in the last year the cops might have been here 3 or 4 times due to either a trespasser that took a midnight dip in the pool or the kid that took the other kids bike. Its quiet here most of the time . We try to keep it that way but I make a mistake now and then and try to help the wrong people get a home . I will keep doing the right thing tho so come on down and see the property and maybe make a few friends while your here

This lady actually took me to court over this and it was dismissed. The video shows clearly where she was cursing at me and I only closed the blinds to close the office .The cursing that I did was exactly this:  After I handed this woman the transfer fee in cash out of my own pocket for the lights, she told me she wanted me to pay for her internet to be transfered as well. I told my wife ( see people just want something for F*****G free.)Any person that works hard for their money doesnt want or need a hand out. This woman did. We had been going thru the issue of the internet for hours. Btw, ATT and Mediacom both had made a mistake and the following day had internet there. So many people out to sue. As far as the Woman comment . I have a wife , mother , and three daughters. They are all strong smart women . There is no way I would ever say something like that to a woman. Three days after this woman said she was in fear for her life , she sent me a text saying that if I paid for her moving she would take the apartment. I won in court because I was right. She lost because she was wrong. 

I want to thank all that have responded and given their experiences.  I do hope that the situation at the Oak Park Apartments is improving.  If there are more people that have had similar situations with Verena and Tommy Tarver, please continue to speak up. For me, I am really frightened of this Tommy and not sure what else to do, if anything?

I also have had this experience with Tommy. He got in my face and cursed me out on numerous occasions. There is no one to complain to. The only people that work here are Tommy and his drug addict girlfriend. They are always saying we owe them for something, we haven't paid something, every day it's something. Nothing ever gets fixed. They advertise two sparkling swimming pools and also a work out facility. There is one algae infested pool, the other clearly has not been in working order in years, it has actually come up out of the ground. There is no work out room, if you ask about it, they say it's broken. Some of the buildings here can't even get hooked up to electricity because they have been empty for so long. I could go on all day, I just hope that if you are planning on moving here that you do some research first. I wish I had.

The man's name is Tommy Tarver. But he does go by several aliases. He claims to have killed a man by breaking his neck with his bare hands. He is a dangerous person. And the lady, Verina, is a convicted drug dealer. They have known about their issues with att for over a year. 

 What did the police do when you called them since you were afraid for your safety?? Were these people arrested?? Was the complex investigated?? This is June 2014 and you abandoned your lease so I am guessing that these people are not threatening you just collecting a debt you owe then for abandoning your lease.  You lost your money when you broke the lease and you are subject to collections and lawsuits as well.
