Ocean Floors Did not respond to our concerns Richmond British Columbia

On Dec 21 2015 we had a house fire. Ocean Floors were subcontracted to replace the carpets. We informed the carpet salesman that we did not like the choice of carpet. We also kept phoning Belfor restorations to inform them that we did not like the carpet and that the floor had not been prepared for the carpet. We were inform that the carpet installers were coming, were spent all day and night preparing the floor for the carpet. We removed hundreds of staples and had to purchases a vacuum as Belfor had our vacuum, so we could remove the accumulation of dirt that was on the floor.

When the installers came we informed they that we did not like the carpet, also that the restoration work on the house still had to be done and the carpet should be installed last not first,they went ahead and installed the carpet over our objections. When they were finished they did not clean up the carpet. The workmen doing the restoration of the house walked on and carried building materials over the new carpet for months, we were constantly cleaning the carpet. We had made many calls to Belfor restoration and each time they told us they would get back to us. They never did. After over a year Marc Thomas from Ocean Floor came to look at the carpet. They had over a year to get back to us and did not. We would not recommend them as they did not show any common sense poor customer service.
