The simple solution is not to pay for service on this site and not to use it. There are many many free sites which provide better service and more content. Since the last upgrade the site is difficult to use, content is not being posted in a timely manner, customer service is still nonexistant and moderators are still abusive. Do what so many people are doing-walk away and don't look back.
This was a great site back in the day, but that day is long gone.

Pay membership to this site is a complete waste of money since the same (and these days better) content is easily found on other sites for free. This site is so badly and confusingly run that interaction with the people in charge is like trying to deal with The Red Queen from Through The Looking Glass.
Any attempts to make sense out of this company are an exercise in futility.
Rebates are never issued, just consider the money tossed down the rabbit hole and find a nice, free site. Soon your memories of this odd, cult like place will fade.

I am glad someone has had the time to read all 46,000 ols member e-mails, where do you find the time? HMMMMMMMMMMM makes you wonder. The fact is money has been paid and they have still NOT deliverd what said they would. They should of had their act together befor they accepted any money. I have read threads from dissatisfied people and they last about 30 seconds because someones FEELINGS get hurt or gets sick of reading the same stupid questions over and over again and says something about it, then the ols PC thugs go to work and pull it. OPEN YOUR EYES.If the truth hurts take your own advice and GO AWAY .

I cannot believe what these people are saying. OLS is wonderful and I don't live in any alternate reality . I have never had a problem everybody is supportive. You people are what ruins wonderful sites. If you had a problem you just had to send a simple email .No you can't have things that simple you need the drama. we have almost 46,000 members as of today's date and 3 complain. What does that tell you three? Hmmm makes me wonder.I wonder if your not all the same person ! If you don't like the site your money would be returned and you can be on your merry little way! SIMPLE and don't bother coming back. Your giving OLS a bad rap and none of it is true.I feel that before posting something the lovely people at this bbb should look into the facts!

Yes, the site it is a total rip off they have not deliverd on what they said they would but they were quick to take you'r money, also try speaking your mind in the forums, FORGET IT!!!! unless you live in some kind of liberal la la land where no feelings get hurt and every thing is coverd in fairy dust.

And don't even think of crossing your eyes the wrong way or having a opposing opinion because the call for your banishment WILL go out.

Some threads even suggest people be banned from online sweepstakes for having used this site to write a negative opinion about them (HOW DARE THEY) speak their mind.

So that is some indication of how the site is run and the mentality of 90% of the people using ols and 100% of the people running ols.

None of these terrible accusations are true. This is a stand-up company that treats the sweeper right. I have been a member for over one year and no problems or run arounds whatsoever. The Webmaster is friendly and responds to all emails. I think the person who put this must be a troll and just want the attention. Shame on them for trying to bring down and site that brings so much happiness to others! Boo!!

In fact none of the mods or owner seems to address anyones concerns really. They are the type of people that just want you to shut up, cover up and get out. They have said over and over again that they will never advocate the use of pop ups and links on their site to make money. But that has since appeared to be another lie handed down to us. Someone a while back did a wonderful thing by helping the other members who couldn't afford a membership by making a list and all the sudden members on the site who wanted to give would be able to have a list to pick a name from in need on that list and buy them a surprise membership. Talk about good karma. No one got hurt until they insisted on belittling the woman who started it and made her feel as if she had done something very wrong, yes, the one who started Project Pay It Forward. When all she did was make the owner of the site over $1000+ dollars in one weekend. She was homeless herself and bought something like 6 or 7 memberships for these perfect strangers who perhaps had more than her, but she refused to prejudge them and never wondered about how much they had. Because to her, it did not matter, it was how much THEY could give, she was helping herself by helping others, with her own money, money she didn't even have. Why? Because it made her feel good. By giving and sharing, she was promoting the very act of kindness and generosity and trying to rid all the biased and cold greedy people we have living with us in this world. By doing this random act of kindness, she was turning the world into a better place by getting other people to reach out and startgiving and helping. Fact of the matter someone's going to have money and when they reach out they may be able to afford more that the rest of us and this is where the big changes come in. Unfortunately she never got a thank you or even one note from and of the mods or owner of the site before they abruptly shut it down with not even a reason to give her. However they weren't at all shy about keeping every cent of the money she raised. This person did what no other has done here. Her compassion and unjudmental ways were what these people needed. Especially since she herself was probably was one of the most people in need on that board. You see, she was just diagnosed with a terminal illness, and thought she was doing something good before she dies. Poor thing. She must feel awful But that story right there makes me not want to associate with the conspiracy at Online-Sweepstakes. She should have been praised for her efforts.

Just because YOU had trouble using the site, doesn't mean there's a problem. I'm sure Brent (the owner of the site) would happily return your money, had you asked him. Online-sweepstakes.com has been highly recommended all over the web. I've never ever met one single person who has had any complaints about online-sweepstakes.com. Perhaps you should have addressed this in a more professional manner, like with the webmaster of online-sweepstakes.com.
