On december 12 I ordered the Ooma Telo phone device,

Recived it Dec dcember 17

Dec 18 -19 20 tried to install it with the help of their thech support, after spealing with 7 different tech ,the manager got on line and told me the device was defected.Spoke with someone in sales in California  and she told me that I must pay to return the device even if it is defective and none of it was my responsability. Here is where the blackmail comes in,if I do not pay for the return of the device I will not get my money back.I told her that I was 70 yrs old and that is the first time in my life ,that a company forces the custumer to pay for   returning  a defective product . BEWARE OF DEALING WITH OOMA

You do realize...

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

POSTED: Friday, December 20, 2013

You do realize the reason YOU have to pay for it right?? They dont know if you screwed up the device or that it is ACTUALLY defective. Since you ordered this either online or over the phone, then that means another party is involved in this arangment. The shipping company. No company is going to eat the shipping if there is ANY question as to the damages of an item. They tell you its defective, but until they examine it for themselves they can not be sure.

Reguardless of the issue, the SHIPPING company STILL GETS PAID. Since YOU are having the issue, YOU have to pay to return it. Should be pretty clear to anyone who isnt so self-entitled that they cant see past their own nose. Not saying you are, but a little COMMON SENSE goes a long ways. YOU say its not FAIR that YOU have to PAY for shipping. But THEY will say its not FAIR to make THEM pay for shipping since you are the one with the problem. See what I mean about common sense? You cant see the beach for a few grains of sand.
